Don’t stay at the heritage building and breakfast is inedible.

Heritage building smelt musty, the bathroom surfaces hadn’t been wiped and there was blood on the curtains. The breakfast is inedible don’t bother.

Beach, birds and buffet.

Great location, the grounds are beautiful. Direct access to the beach, easy walk to all shops and restaurants in Lorne. The rooms are a bit dated but for the price still very reasonable given location and convenience. Love the wildlife, the birds really make you feel you're amongst nature. The buffet breakfast is excellent as is happy hour at the bar. The indoor heated pool is great in winter when the beach is just too cold. Would definitely stay again.

The rooms are fine albeit getting a bit old . Buffet Breakfast could have hsd better bread variety but we did enjoy the Easter treat of chocolate pastry , pain au chocolate , A good variety of food . The service is very good abd staff very friendly .

Lovely place to stay

We stayed in the main building. It has been tastefully refurbished. The room was a good size. The bed very comfortable. The breakfast was buffet style and OK. The hotel is well placed next to the beach and easy walking distance to the restaurant in the town. Would stay again if in the area

Great for family get-together

Spacious grounds right beside the beach with an indoor hested pool & apartment style accommodation for families. Staff helpful & friendly, comfortable clean rooms and a great buffet breakfast which was a highlight for the kids. Only negatives were on the activity front: (1) there was an issue with the heating so pool was too cool (2) supplies of sporting equipment were limited as a result of damage from previous users & 1 court was double booked. We suggest you bring your own tennis racquets. But would we visit again? Yes indeed!
