Sorry, but a real let down.

My husband and I have just returned from a 2 day stay and I've got to say it was a bit disappointing. We had a room but the apartments may have been a better option. We hated the parking situation. If you had an A next to your room number you got a park outside your room. If you had a B you had to park a 100 metres away (approx). B was the top level wouldn't it be better to have the top level closer? Even with a lift it was a pain. Dinner in the restaurant was nice enough but still pricey even with the Accor member discount. Gluten free options were few. Lots of grass which wasn't being utilised for anything, apart from the tennis court. The pool was under cover and next to reception and people in it could be watched while at reception. It put me off using it. Breakfast was fine but basic. Staff were all pleasant and professional. The room itself was very basic. Old, worn and with a very awkward shower over a hot tub. The bed and pillow were very comfortable though. I hate giving critical reviews but sorry this hotel was very basic.

Like an episode of Fawlty Towers

After being assured that the hotel renovations would be completed before our stay and requesting a quiet room multiple times for health reasons, I honestly nearly cried when I discovered that our room looked directly onto major construction works - complete with a scissor lift, temporary fencing, a skip full of building debris, and the remnants of a wild cockatoo party with up-turned chairs and strewn rubbish (see my photos). I do not know how they thought it was acceptable to sell this room to anyone on a holiday, let alone to someone who requested a quiet room. And then initially refuse to move us for 2 nights. And then move us to a room without an allocated car park nearby without help to move our luggage. And then start hammering upstairs at the quiet room. And not offer a refund/discount. This would make a hilarious episode of Fawlty Towers, but as a relaxing holiday...it was more like a horror movie. There will be no sequel.

Old hotel

Mantra Lorne Lorne Old hotel ItIis quite an old hotel. Old furniture and rooms but kind staff. There is a good restaurant where you can find Italian food, I ate really well. Disappointed by the lack of helpers. There a swimming pool. Suggested just for one night.

Perfect yet again... Just can't keep away!

I can't keep away Perfect location for peace, seaside and relaxation. Same apartment as March 25 stay with garden and sea view Cooked, read, walked, ate out and daytrip to Melbourne. Too cold to swim but good weather for beach walks. Only drawback was computer wouldn't ast to Samsung TV like in March, so luckily I brought a HDMI cable. I simply can't wait to return and already planning a stay here next Feb or March so I can swim as well.

Good size, beautiful views, bed was a bit hard

Room was a good size, great views, bed was a bit hard. Facilities were great and location is fantastic. Was in attendance for a conference and even though they were doing renovations to a lot of their rooms it did not impact our stay. Utilised the WiFi for about 6 hours one day without issue or additional charge which was greatly appreciated
