Great location but the amenities require attention. The swim out room located in the smaller pool presents interesting challenges for the guests. The pool is rather shallow and it needs better access from the deck. There are no manageable steps and due to the depth one cannot dive in ( as per signs) and once in the pool it is rather difficult to get out particularly for older guests. The deck is really a punishment to your feet on a very hot day. The bathroom is outdated . These rooms are self contained but unfortunately the unavailability of spare rubbish bags for both the bathroom and the kitchen make the situation interesting. They also do not supply a kitchen sink sponge for the dishes. On a positive note the dryer and washing machine were great.The staff are very polite and professional and this balances a little the not so positive experience based on the amenities. We have stayed in better mantra properties in Port Douglas

Hassle free, great friendly staff, you can walk to anywhere in Port Douglas in minutes, The swim out pool is a winner, very spacious comfortable room , lovely bed, we will definitely stay here next time we are in Port Douglas.

Perfect from reception to the room. Friendly staff greeted us and we were given a beautifully appointed one bedroom apartment with a very comfortable bed. It was quiet with a beautiful outlook over the pool. Just wish we could have stayed longer.

Check in was delayed by 2 hours as there were no staff to clean. We had a child with us and others in our larger group were checked in on time. Our bathroom was filthy and mouldy which was brought to the attention of management whom cleaned it again a day later. Bedroom airconditioner didn't work which was horrible in the 32+ degree heat trying to sleep. Overall the size of the place was good but the condition of the room was disgusting. Carpets were covered in stains, there were spit marks on the walls behind the toilet (at least I hope they were spit marks) kitchen facilities were ok. Out of the group of 16 we travelled with for a 60th birthday, most of us had issues with appliances not working or units being dirty. Probably wont stay again and go elsewhere.

Da fuori la struttura e' molto bella e si trova nella via parallela al centro( di notte si può passare all'interno della struttura per sbucare nella via centrale).. Un neo evidente e' costituto dalla mancanza della rampa per accedere( se avete della valigie pesanti,vi attaccate..).. Le dovete prendere di peso e via. Ma i problemi veri sono altri: la reception e' aperta dalle 8 alle 18.. Internet libero nella hall( il pc e' zeppo di virus,quindi lento) solo per quelle ore.e notizia clamorosa!! Pulizia nella camera solo a pagamento!!solo che l'addetta non ce l'ha detto all'arrivo,ne' vi era alcun cartello indicante ciò in camera.la mattina dopo siamo partiti presto per l'escursione,rientrati,camera in disordine ,asciugamani per terra..erano le 18 30,non posso chiedere spiegazioni,reception chiusa.consulto il sito dell'hotel e noto tra le righe che il servizio era a pagamento.solo che la mattina dopo di nuovo escursione alle 7.. Morale della favola,ci siamo adattati e asciugati con il Phone per tre giorni..anche se avessi voluto acquistare internet oppure la pulizia della camera,come potevo farlo se la reception era chiusa alle 18? Incredibile.l.mi sono lamentato di questa cosa con l'agenzia.inoltre una sera ho avuto un problema che dovevo comunicare tramite mail,non mi sono connesso in hotel perché la hall era chiusa,mi sono arrangiato qua e la' con qualche wifi libera( cercandola tra decine di locali,visto che non hanno l'abitudine di avere internet...). Insomma un incubo..da recensore di così tante strutture non mi era mai capitato di pagare un servizio di pulizia,ma soprattutto di avere la hall chiusa..passi il pagamento della camera,ma mi volete almeno avvisare? Oppure un servizio di guardiania attivo di notte per le emergenze?recensione super negativa.. Per il resto,la camera,almeno il primo giorno,era pulita..
