Relaxing stay! Lovely hotel and brilliant facilities. We loved the stay and staff were really friendly. Excellent breakfast everyday and lots of room NY the pool. Location was ideal for short 15min walk into main town. Would thoroughly recommend the hotel and staff.

Run down poorly maintained.

We have just returned from a 5 night stay at Mantra Portsea. Upon arrival the staff were very friendly and helpful. However that’s about where the positives ended for this accommodation. Going into our room it absolutely stank like mouldy washing and it was not clean at all, dead bugs squashed into walls and blinds, mould in the bathroom and dirty windowsills and floors. The furniture was dirty and stained. Our king bed was 2 single beds pushed together and all in all it was disappointing, with terrible bedding. We sucked it up and headed to the pool for a few cocktails, only to find that as soon as 5pm rolls around, no matter how many people are in the pool/at the bar it closes. We then had 2 days in a row of the fire alarm go off at ungodly hours of the morning jolting us awake, then not even an explanation or apology until we brought it up. All in all our holiday to Port Douglas was fantastic however the down side was this accommodation we won’t be staying here again and suggest others look elsewhere. I have now read some recent reviews and it seems quite a common complaint, and the hotel responds to each one with a copy paste reply which is also disappointing to see. For what we paid for our accommodation it was extremely disappointing.

Rest assured that review responses are not just copy and paste as you suggest. We take the time to read and review your feedback. We acknowledge that we could have done better. We could have either provided additional cleaning to your room or moved you to another room that was more suitable as we want our guests to be comfortable during their stay with us however if our team are not made aware of any issues with a stay then it is so difficult for us to make things right. I have no doubt that if we were able to have moved you to a different room, then your experience may have been different outcome. I have also passed on your comments to our Housekeeping Manager for further review and explanation. Regarding the fire alarm activation on the early morning of the 6th, this was unfortunately a false alarm. While we cannot control when our fire equipment may activate, we understand that being woken up can be inconvenient. However, these systems are in place to protect our guests and staff in the event of a real emergency. With regards to our Lagoon Pool Bar, as we are now in the Wet Season, the Pool Bar operates on Seasonal Hours from 12pm till 5pm and closed on Sunday and Monday. We are open and transparent regarding this and is displayed on our websites. Unfortunately, due to the low occupancy sustained in November and December, it is not financially viable to maintain longer opening hours. That said, at Reception we also have a fully stocked Lobby Shop fridge available for guests to purchase any beverages, as an alternative. We are again sincerely sorry that your stay with us was not as it should have been. Should you decide to return and allow us an opportunity to make amends one day in the future rest assured we will do all we can to try and restore your faith in us. Un hotel di quella categoria e di quelle proporzioni che non ha un ascensore e che non prevede la pulizia della camera non è accettabile! La signorina dello staff che ci ha seguito al ceck in era svogliata e poco professionale. La camera non aveva l'accesso diretto alla piscina come previsto e c'era forte odore di umidità. Inoltre nonostante la grandezza non c'era spazio per appoggiare ed aprire le valigie, abbiamo dovuto spostare dei mobili per poterci organizzare con i bagagli.Non consiglio questo hotel perché in Port Douglas si può sicuramente trovare di meglio!

All guest amenities and room towels can be replaced FOC upon request, as outlined in our Guest Welcome Pack. Our 'Hotel' rooms are our standard room type, with measurements of the room and features listed on our website. Guests find these the perfect option for shorter stays, and as a cost-effective option to allow for more spending on activities and dining in Port Douglas. We hope you enjoyed the beaches, restaurants and beautiful scenery of Port Douglas.

Siamo stati in questo htl per 6 notti, non ci hanno mai pulito la Camera, cambiato gli asciugamani per carità che indecenza. La nostra stanza dava sulla piccola vasca idromassaggio dotato di angolo barbecue...impossibile aprire le finestra dalla puzza di arrosto schiamazzi di bambini, armadio rotto doccia sporca. Alla reception ragazzine poco gentili. Colazione nella media. Mai più

Magico,elegante e tranquillo.attaccato al mare , ci si arriva attraverso un viale strapieno di piante tropicali e uccelli bellissimi. Si arriva in spiaggia ....e che spiaggia....ricca di palme e sabbia chiara ....spiaggia immensa e mare bellissimo. Tranquillità e bellezza si apprezzano a port . Hotel pulito con possibilità di fare il bbq.tante piscine e bar sulla piscina...ti servono mentre sei in acqua. Ingresso resort spettacolare
