Great location but unfortunately the apartment we stayed in was in very poor condition - the washing machine was "broken" (to quote the young lady at reception), the TV remote was incompatible with the TV, the furniture, particularly the dining room chairs, was in need of replacement.

Needs a Refurb

The view of the ocean marina side is stunning. We chose to stay here again after a few stays over the years. I feel sadly, this was our last time. The overall condition of the rooms is poor. Stains on carpets, broken furniture, dirty balcony, old, tired bathrooms, chipped and scuffed walls and doors. The lobby and corridors to the rooms was much the same. The linen and cleanliness of the room (other than the balcony which they promptly attended to when made aware) was of a good standard. The 2 Brm apartment wasn't super expensive, but I still feel it was not value for money. Such a pity for the location and for Geraldton. Really hope there is a refurbishment on the horizon.

Tired and needs a ‘Refresh’ treatment.

Have stayed here several times since opening and have always enjoyed the experience and the comfort. But… It is time now for The Mantra to renovate and update… The couches were well used and tired looking. Chips and dents in the walls and door frames. The king bed mattress has collapsed in the middle and I felt like I was falling into a hole all night. Notes around to say save water yet it took three minutes to get any hot water flowing in the shower - hard to limit your shower time… Cupboard doors loose and saggy. Overall… the rooms are getting tired 🥱 and desperately need a paint and decor refresh and new furnishings. Location and views are still amazing 👍 Current pricing is overpriced for quality.

Won’t be returning

Terribly overpriced only to find out the rooms will be undergoing renovations. The bathrooms have mould everywhere, and the carpets and tiles are dirty. It is very run down. Location is great which is probably the only good thing going for this hotel.

The only good thing about this hotel is location. Rooms are incredibly dirty. Curtains in out bedroom didn’t work so we couldn’t get natural light in. Everything was dusty, 1 cm of dust on curtains, window sills, around doors, beds and night lamps. Bathrooms “seemed” clean until you get better look. Just disgusting. The property is not well maintained. In addition, there is no housekeeping service unless you do check out. Just terrible, you even have to take your own trash out. For this service it’s ridiculously overpriced. I do not recommend to anyone nor I will be back. Accor should end franchise with this property owner.
