As we were visiting family close by, this hotel was perfect for our stay. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was spacious and clean. The restaurant for breakfast had a wide range of food and the barista made coffee was exceptional. Thank you for a lovely time

I can’t help myself but to visit this awesome hotel over and over. Last visit about 6 months ago and wanted to stay to experience the new dining options which I can say did not disappoint! I’ll keep it short but what an amazing stay we had yet again. Room was spectacular and spotless. Dining was incredible! And breakfast was Devine. Everything gets a huge thumbs up from me and trust me I get around to tonnes of hotels and the Novotel Preston Melbourne have got everything covered. For business or leisure they tick all the boxes. Huge shout out to Jessica and Christina on reception, Suman, Jess, Greg, Hari, Helen and all the kitchen team in dining. I love you guys!!!

Ah, THIS is the hotel that was functioning as a makeshift prison for refugees in detention. It’s changed its name multiple times since then. Our room certainly had that vibe. Multiple rooms sharing the veranda which means people could have just walked in through the sliding door. Was comfortable and clean enough except for the shower, which was in the smallest room possible. Bashed my head on the mirror spitting out toothpaste. Weird pole in the middle of the doorless shower, which I had to shower in with my head sticking out to avoid bashing it on the shower heads (I’m 5”7! So it’s weird!). Weird step in the middle of the room which you fall off trying to get to the toilet middle of the night. Mould in shower. Close to everything and quiet, but come on. Replace some silicone in the showers. Think about guest safety a bit with the room design.

Big rooms plenty of space to move in opening windows comfortable beds clean and tidy .Service transport very handy trams to city . Reception every member ready to help with smile. The only thing that we did not like was that you have to pay for parking. Also a swimming pool would be ideal.

The location of the hotel is easily accessible by public transport and is close to high street and Thornbury which is a home to various restaurants and pubs. The nightly parking charge is nominal and the pool is located at our sister property located in the same complex however it does incur a charge of $ 12.00 for an individual or $ 30.00 for a family. This amount can be spent in their restaurant in exchange of an entry to the pool. Regards Dinesh

My husband and I had an overnight stay following my day surgery - the staff were wonderful, arranging a meal to be sent to our room whilst my husband dined in the restaurant, the room was large, great TV and very comfortable bedding, which I truly appreciated. Looking forward to another stay here very soon.
