Clean modern room. Our room had a balcony and jacuzzi, TV and small kitchenette. Tea/coffee provided. Rooms can be serviced for an additional fee. Reception open from 8 til 6pm. Friendly staff. 2 large pools. 1 minute walk to Macrossan street.

To call the day before a booking and demand we upgrade due to your own oversight was super unprofessional. Generally when a business stuffs up and inconveniences their customer they'll be forthcoming in making sure their needs are met, but we received absolutely nothing. To go with this, the room had a heap of mould. The pictures, the bathroom ceiling the lamps and part of the balcony, had very obviously established mould that has just been ignored. The only lift was also broken for half a day, and no general communication email was sent out. I know it's only a 3 story building, but it made getting to and from the car a major hassle with a pram, there was literally no alternative for elderly and people with a disability, so you'd think a general email to all current guests explaining the issue and a general ETA would be a given.. All up, I am super disappointed in a bunch of things that are pinned to a poorly run establishment rather then bad luck, so I'll be both avoiding mantras for a bit and letting others know about the this particularly poor one.

I want to assure you that we acted quickly, with a technician arriving on-site the same day to resolve the issue. We understand how challenging this was, particularly for guests with prams or mobility issues, and we regret any hassle it caused. I also appreciate your comments regarding cleanliness. We stayed in the one bedroom spa room. For two nights. The room was fantastic clean had a full kitchen and laundry. Two ! Lounges and a spa overlooking the pool. The staff were truly amazing really friendly. It’s in the best location in Port Douglas. It’s the quiet part and s short walk to the beach. Overall great place to stay.

This hotel is well located close to the hub of Port Douglas with everything within a short walking distance. Our apartment was clean and comfortable, with everything in working order. Check in and Check out was very efficient and all staff were very friendly, professional and helpful.

Very comfortable and versatile

My mum and I shared room 15. The configuration was perfect for us, as it was actually 2 rooms with a common entrance opened up, so Mum was able to have 15B to herself. This meant she not only had her own bedroom, but her own bathroom, kitchenette, veranda, outdoor chairs and table, spa, sun lounge and pool ladder! I was in 15A (a double room in itself) and we used its much larger lounge, kitchen (full size with dishwasher), veranda and spa as our common area. Both bathrooms have walk-in showers. The pool isn't heated but it was in the sun from early morning so, even in August, I found the water plenty warm enough. It's always beautifully clean too, without noticeable chlorine, only slightly salty, good mix. Excellent location, next door to Zinc restaurant and bar, which is on the corner of Davidson and Macrossan Street. Short stroll to the beach. If you're not able to manage the walk all the way down Macrossan St to the inlet, there is a great shuttle bus service available (SR Coaches) to take you anywhere in Port Douglas for a fixed price of $8 one way or $14 return. Just call their mobile number to tell them where you are and they'll be there in a flash.
