The hotel/hostel is unique and was suitable for the night I was in Chch. Very close (walking distance) to the CBD making everything from meetings to meals accessible. I got worried when I saw the Contiki bus parked outside, however I had a very peaceful sleep on the quiet floor (level 5) and in the comfy bed. My only complaint would be the oddly shaped and teeny tiny toilet/shower area. Tiny is an understatement. The room itself is very small but the bathroom was...odd.

Clean, comfortable and quiet with friendly staff. Good restaurant meals and breakfast. Very convenient location a short walk to the main Christchurch bus interchange. Also easy walking to any central location. Definitely recommend. The small rooms are small, but have everything you need good beds and pillows, and we really only slept and showered there.

This was not difficult to find. If you come from the airport you can take bus number 29 outside of door 9 and stop either at the bus interchange or the stop before. NZ$4 It’s a short walk from either stop. There are plenty of shops and restaurants around. Check in was fast. There is a lift. The room was super small but that’s what I booked, a small room that is adequate for me. The bed was elevated so that they could make way for space below the bed for putting your suitcase. Otherwise there was really not much room if you have multiple suitcases. I may be more senior but still able to climb on the bed. I imagine an older, less agile guest may have difficulty. If you are claustrophobic or more than one person, get a bigger room. It's a bit of a cramp in the room. Though small the room surprised me with more than the expected amenities. There are the usual tv, kettle and tea and coffee. There was also a fridge and iron and ironing board. The room was clean and bed comfortable. The bathroom had all the usual amenities and toiletries. But I could not switch off this strange pink light. It was probably meant to be a night light for going to the toilet in the night.

Have stayed at the Breakfree multiple times and they always impress. The staff are very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. The room pricing was affordable, room very clean and the breakfast was great. What I enjoy about the Breakfree is that they have always some sort of deal going and this time around it was a discount on the breakfast. A nice surprise. Thanks Breakfree team, see you next time.

バスインターチェンジやスーパーマーケットから近く、一人旅には最適な立地。市内のオススメ観光地は殆ど徒歩圏内です。フロントは24時間体制なので、早朝のチェックアウトも快く対応してくれます。
