I checked in late afternoon after surgery. When I picked up toilet cover, there were gross feces in bowl. I shared photo with desk clerk upon checkout next day and she apologized and said she will let housekeeping know.

Pam with reservations was amazing and so helpful. We would've booked again just because of her. Can't say much for the rest of the staff there. A handful were rude and sarcastic poolside. No personality, seriously shouldn't be working with people if you can't stand them asking you questions about your hotel. The shops in the lobby treated us like we were criminals and absolutely no aloha but they lit up when Japanese or white guest entered the store. We didn't even receive a greeting upon entering . They even followed my kids around the store like they were going to steal. The rooms weren't cleaned properly.Our bathroom vents had a lot of dust in it and the bathroom wasn't cleaned well. Sliding door for the balcony didn't lock and coffee maker wasn't cleaned too. We truly enjoyed the 410 cafe downstairs. The employees there were extremely friendly and helpful. Overall, don't think we will be coming back . The hotel is beautiful but what good is a beautiful building filled with pule (no good) people working there.

Hotel stay was nice. Room was exceptionally taken care of, clean and quite. I did not quite understand the 'size' of the parking structure and the mall attached to it. That is the only thing that made this an 8 not a 10. The food options were great, the staff was excellent, check in and check out were fantastic. Location is great. I just don't like Shopping malls. Once I found out there was an A'ali Coffee in the parking structure, I visited that every morning on my way to work. Giant concrete structures under cover are super disorienting to me, so that the only negative part of my stay. I did NOT use the shuttle service, but it was nice to know it was available to me.

The location is great, the staff is really nice, the lobby area looked amazing but once you got into the hallways of the guest rooms, it felt old and there were weird smells. Even the guest rooms it doesn’t seem well maintained. We had holes in our shower curtain, holes in the sheets / bedding. The beds are not comfortable at all. No duvet, it was just a blanket with a sheet. There were only 2 pillows on a king size bed. Not even king size pillows. There was no extra bedding. We needed the sofa bed and there were no sheets, the sheets they brought up didn’t even fit the pull out. It also smelled. There is barely any sound proofing to the walls, you can hear all of the traffic and siren noises throughout the day. The pool felt really old and small. It also is not family friendly, sure the area is but the pool has a time 3 ft section then it drastically drops to 6 ft and even goes up to 9 ft. Who is swimming in 9 ft pools. It is not worth the money what so ever unless you need convenience of being connected to Ala Moana Mall.

We had a great ocean view with wonderful sunsets. We love going upstairs for the happy hour and or dinner. Breakfast buffet is very good. Great location to go shopping at the mall.

Convenient and comfortable. I was there to get my son set up for a second year UH Manoa. Check-in was really quick and perfect. Everything was great, but we were so close to the elevators and it was so busy that it was kind of loud. Other than that, everything was great thank you. It was just a really quick trip one night only.

Ala Moana is conveniently located so that you're within walking distance of the beach and the mall. The staff is friendly and often eager to help. It's a shame the pool hours are so tight we never got to see it whenever we would return from the beach.

Extra bed mattress had big dip in it… why would an ADA room have no view..it sad a handicap person that would in atom mores so than able person should have a room with a view nota parking lot
