Booked our stay with Alamoana hotel, really excited , heard great things. I called a representative earlier to ask if they do late check out. The rep said I had to ask the front desk when I check in. My stay in Oahu was overnight leaving the next day. I was having an in and out surgery the next morning and the couple extra hours sleep in the room would have been great. The front desk said to ask the next morning. The morning of my surgery. So we did and again the same reply. They were completely full. We even offered to pay for another night and nothing. I don’t know if it was cause we were local guest or not. But I thought that this situation could have handled a better and I thought their customer service could have been a lot better too.

Arrived at 11am and didn’t get checked in till 1pm other than that everything else was great

This hotel was listed for the Honolulu Marathon, which my mom and I participated in. From the moment we arrived the staff was courteous, the hotel was clean, and perfectly located close to the race start AND finish, as well as walking distance from Waikiki Beach AND the historic parts of downtown Honolulu. Will definitely stay here again my next trip the Oahu!

Great location for shopping

Only complaint was the water pressure in the shower was terrible. The flow restrictor saves money for the hotel but when you are paying top dollar for hotel rooms these days, it leaves you the impression of cheapness.

Amazing experience...as always The room was clean with no unpleasant odor. This is not a complaint, but for some reason, there was only 1 bath towel hanging. Actually, for me its no big deal as I normally use just one bath towel. I've stayed here here multiple times, for work or for pleasure and this is not the first time a towel is missing. Like I mentioned...no big deal! For some it may be an issue...
