Worst experience. The elevator situation. Had to wait up to 20 minutes to get to my room

The reservation was initially not what I expected, Kona tower with a Queen, and the management made it all fine. We have been staying there for years and always pick a room in the Waikiki Tower with a larger bed configuration and also near the elevator because of mobility issues. In any event, I may have been at fault making the reservation but we ended up in a very nice room because the management and gentleman who checked us in changed it for us.. Thank you so much!

Minor "issues". A/C really didn't work well, it was set to Celsius, not Fahrenheit. When we tried to adjust it lower, it kicked off. Then it would randomly turn on. The tub is so slippery, we had to put a towel in it to avoid slipping. The tub water spigot is terrible, it turns on full force, yet when the diverter level is turned to the right, the shower head pressure is too restricted. Toilet paper was rough and single ply, something more akin to a motel.

no room upgrade, lack of instructions for directory inside hotel
