Very nice hotel, altho choice of dates were in the high season. Parking lot was tight and expensive for its area. Location was perfect, with Ala Moana Shopping Center and restaurants wthin walking distance.

Overall nice. Rooms were clean and in good condition. Pool was well maintained. Location near the mall was helpful for needs during the stay. Front desk staff seemed a little stressed.

Pros: Staff was very friendly, accommodating, and overall fantastic. Lobby and facade gave overall great first impression. Cons: Very aged/dated structure, finishes, furnishings. Decades of wear and tear, without much investment in maintenance & upkeep. Carpets in common areas smelled like urine. Paint & wallpaper peeling, wood trim & doors cracked and falling apart. Dirty, dusty, musty drawers & closet - I was scared to unpack. Trash & personal belongings from previous guests found under & behind furniture. Newer mattress & bedding were clean but very cheap and uncomfortable. Sofa & chair were dirty & worn. AC was inadequate and never properly cooled the room. Inoperable vent fan in bathroom = constantly humid, stuffy room.
