Staff was very helpful and friendly! Perfect location for all the things we wanted to do, and the room was nice! We went for a concert, but also wanted to shop so it was the best option for that. I love that there is a Starbucks in the lobby, and the mall is walking distance so we didn’t need to rent a car! The pool area is very nice too :)

I did a Sraycation with my family. We had 2 rooms. My daughter had to attend a conference so the location was so convenient. My grandkids loved the pool & the breakfast buffet. Housekeeping were so kind to give us extra towels. We were so close to Ala Moana Center that we could all walk there too!

I always stay here when I come to Honolulu because of the location. But this time Front Desk people's attitude was very disappointing but this is a busy hotel in resort area. Keep your expectations low for service. Do not expect any Aloha here, get it from somewhere else.

The room was comfortable, but for the cost and the attempted allure for business travelers, Ala Moana is certainly skimping on things - I had to ask for a blanket and wait for it to be delivered. The lack of coffee packs in the room make it necessary to allow for room service to get the coffee restocked- additionally the coffee pot is impossible to safely operate on the shelf in the room (not enough space to open the lid). A hotel of this quality should at the very least have fresh coffee available in the lobby - not make customers pay for Starbucks. The noise of utlity equipment in the middle of the night from the hallway is disruptive. BUT MOST OF ALL - Fix the parking garage! It's disgusting, smells of urine, is impossible to find your car or a parking spot...and in general feels exceptionally unsafe.
