From start to finish, the London Mama Shelter in Shoreditch was a perfect stay. Michelle in reception was so friendly and helpful and ever-present! I have wanted to stay here for some time and was glad the opportunity presented itself. After a long flight from the US, we were welcomed with a very fortunate early check-in, though they can store your luggage, if needed. The location was perfect for our needs and the price and value were great. It is very close to Broadway Market, Victoria Park, the new Young V&A, and public transportation. The hotel's decor is even more amazing than the photos and the atmosphere is both calming and celebratory. We were there during a joyous Christmas gathering and yet our main floor room was silent, cozy, convenient, and clean. The bed was very comfortable and the bath nicely appointed. We slept great! All of the staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is very close to the Cambridge Heath bus stop/tube station and we had no trouble navigating to the hotel from Heathrow via the Elizabeth Line to Whitechapel and the 254 bus to Cambridge Heath. It is a short walk from the bus stop. I highly recommend the Mama Shelter. This is a great area to spend time and a short(ish) commute to the more central London attractions.

I was there for one night but had the best service from Tasmia! Lovely location, a safe space anf super clean plus comfy. It was my first time. Defo coming again from Germany for my business trips on the weekends. No more words needed. Such an experience!

A nice respite from the bustle of Shoreditch

A wonderful quality hotel with character in a funky part of town. Says Shoreditch but it’s more like Hackney. Comfortable bed, spacious room, Tasmia and the girls up front were warm and helpful. The boys in the bar make an excellent espresso martini. Breakfast buffet was amazing. Close walks to the Columbia Flower Market and Broadway Market. Also close to a few bus and train stops to get around the east side quite easily. Worth noting: excellent lighting for getting ready gals. Will definitely return!

I stayed at Mama Shelter and I had a lovely experience. The beautiful interior was so fun and I loved the happy vibe from the staff. The food was delicious!! I had a great time and look forward to come back soon!!! I also enjoyed the Sunday Roast menu which was very good!

The hotel is very welcoming and busy, with friendly staff. Tasmia checked us in and out and was very friendly and very helpful. Nothing was a problem and she took care of us. The bar/ restaurant was busy and fun with a beautiful atmosphere. Have fun.
