We had the best time at Rixos over the new year. We travelled as a family with 2 young children and it was so perfect - kids carnival on Sunday, playground on the beach and activities scattered around. The beach was beautiful and relaxing. The food was amazing - the best buffet we’ve eaten at, so much variety. One review states there wasn’t enough options for the kids but there was always multiple pasta dishes, lots of meat options and vegetables. The nye gala was so well put together, we had the best night. Followed by an equally lovely brunch the next day. What a way to start 2026. If I had to leave feedback, the one thing I’d say is that the housekeeping could have been better. One night we got to our room at 5pm and our room hadn’t been tidied, we got a knock at the door at 6:30 which isn’t ideal when trying to get ready for dinner.

Just back from our trip to Rixos Premium Sadyat Island and we enjoyed every second. From start to finish our visit was faultless. The food was amazing, the bedrooms and facilities , brilliant . The crowning glory however was the staff who were warm, friendly , efficient and fun. So many amazing people to mention so forgive me if I have missed anyone . Denuwara , Rodney, Supriya, Jitan and of course Pradeep . They along will all the team made our trip one to remember, All being well we will return at the end of the year and pick up where we left off. Thank you one and all

Absolutely incredible hotel. We came on New Year’s Day and the gala brunch was on with the most spectacular array of food - oysters, tomahawk steak, lobster etc The hotel is immaculate and the staff are just brilliant. Nothing is too much trouble. The waiters around the pool work so hard. The house keeping is great. The food in the buffet and restaurants, again 10/10. The only issue we had was waiting for 1.5 hours for our food in the orient The only things they could do better on is more lively entertainment in the evening and more activities for older kids. Our girls are 9 and found everything a bit baby ish. We really enjoyed our stay

The most disgusting guest reception I've ever experienced. I highly recommend it. We were met by a manager who wasn't as concerned about hospitality as he was about us filling out forms and listening to the terms of our stay. We arrived with three children, one of whom is one year and two months old, but no one at the hotel cared. Our nanny was placed on a different floor, despite a written request to that effect when booking.
