Snobbish hotel reception staff

Nalismiranda Friends getaway - TripAdvisor review

Unfriendly snobbish hotel reception staff The amenities look good but the two front office reception staff morning after Australia Day 2023 unfriendly snobbish and uppity They could have been friendly and welcoming instead of freezing grudging responses. Supercilious attitude . Winery staff more friendly Hotel reception staff morning after Australia Day need a course in customer service and guest relations . 👎🏻

Five Star Package

The hotel may be 4 star but the whole experience is 5 star. This was our 4th visit, as a 3 generation family of 12. The kids love it, eating options are great, location is superb and a big attraction is the friendly staff. They are relaxed country people who really love their job and go out of the way to please the guests. I'm not even a wine lover but I love the real Aussie location, nestled on the banks of the river, with the only background sounds being the symphony of nature.

Pricey but Picturesque

Beautiful surroundings and stunning estate. Loved seeing the kangaroos and the colourful birds. Staff were helpful, particularly with after-hours requests and lost property. The only real negative is that it is not vegan friendly. There is a very limited selection of vegan dishes, but the portions are very small and the side dishes (potatoes, greens) aren’t suitable for vegan.

Absolutely Stunning - the perfect escape for the perfect celebration

We chose Mitchelton Hotel to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary and escape! So glad we did - we were there on Wednesday this week for a day & night. It was amazing to see that the work to recover from the floods was unbelievable. Well done and how fantastic to support such a wonderful venue that has suffered so much. Total indulgence. The staff were incredible, we indulged in massages and dined in the restaurant. The food and service was outstanding. The best beds we have ever slept on as well. Highly recommend.

A very good experience package

My 5 star rating is for the whole experience rather than the hotel room. The room itself is like so many other hotels, clean, functional and basic and, as such, is overpriced. However, Mitchelton make up for this with their whole experience and that is what you pay for. We enjoyed the wine tasting in the afternoon- very informative and some very good wines. So good to be able to taste and not have to worry about driving afterwards. The hotel offers a complementary wine on arrival and we enjoyed this relaxing in the attractive foyer. Dinner at the Muse was very good. The staff were excellent. The next morning we enjoyed a good breakfast, not exceptional but the cheeriness of the staff was a plus. We were able to go up the tower to look at the landscape from above and then down to the excellent art gallery of indigenous artists. Overall the experience was a very good package and the icing on the cake was the staff. Everywhere the staff were so warm and welcoming and friendly.
