A rejuvenating two night stay. The weather was also on our side which meant we had two days by the infinity pool. We didn't have to leave the resort with plenty to keep us entertained; Art Gallery, viewing tower, wine tasting, two eating venues and plenty of room to walk and admire the Golburn River. We did venture into Nagambie and enjoyed a bike ride.

I booked online but was contacted the next day by the hotel who informed me I was not able to stay and they would cancel my booking. This was my free night....not cancelled and now I have to ring Accor and renegotiate. Disappointing!

the young friendly casual team set just the right tone for our family 2 night sojourn escape from the CBD. Ambience of a country manor with surrounding grounds and loved the Guinea fowl wandering the grounds. Dinner the 1st night at The Muse restaurant was excellent and our group of 4 was adequately socially isolated on a mezzanine level. Breakfast each morning at the same space was very tasty and fitting. Wine tasting. wander through the Aboriginal Art Gallery and the Observation Deck added to our enjoyment of the stay.

Beautiful property. Still impressed by design - layout - landscaping etc. Rooms are very comfortable and well appointed with high quality fixtures and fittings as well as bedding and bathroom amenities. The restaurant ,food /wine is very good. Bit of a problem with flies and service is very friendly if a bit patchy.

Beautiful location and rooms. The staff were extremely helpful and polite. Would stay again. Unfortunately we were unable to take advantage of all amenities as some were unavailable due to later opening times in the mornings. Very disappointed but fully recommend this property.

Relaxing and beautiful venue to recharge the batteries. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Only thing they could not control was the weather but we would definitely come back again to walk around the grounds and explore the nearby bushland.

Lovely wine food and spa treatment.

Thank you for a wonderful stay ! The only thing I didn’t like was the pillows - too hard and high Woke up with a sore neck . The spa treatment was a perfect way to fix my neck . The view from the room was beautiful and peaceful The staff on the restaurant were friendly. Will definitely be back

From our arrival the service was friendly and helpful. The restaurant was excellent and the bed very comfortable, topped off by the view over the river. A quick getaway which we will repeat in winter so we can sit in front of the fire with our red wine.

We recently stayed for four fantastic nights at this hotel. Anthony on reception desk was outstanding on our arrival. He welcomed us and took the trouble to show us all of the hotel’s facilities personally. A wonderful way to start our holiday. We stayed in a suite and it was a total wow! Huge room, three tvs, all with Netflix and such a comfortable bed. Now for the restaurant. It was absolutely amazing. The three night time meals we had were beyond tasty. Going for dinner was one of our highlights. The staff were so attentive to every detail and the wine list was extensive. The meals were well priced and the dinners were next level. I think they were the best meals that I have ever tried in a restaurant. Our accommodation included breakfast which was the same amazing food. There was plenty to select from and it was absolutely first class. The coffee was consistently great every morning and again the morning staff were outstanding. Do yourself a favour and stay at this great hotel. You won’t regret it.

Rest & Relaxation

The hotel was a major factor in the achievement of our twin goals - ‘rest and relaxation’. In every respect our stay was extremely fulfilling. The staff were outstanding. The menu was diverse and the food and local wines were delicious to say the least. The rooms were spacious and well-appointed, with the most comfortable bed! The river view and surrounding bush land was something else - serene and beautiful. A great place to stay.

The rooms were excellent and the staff were very nice. We both enjoyed our breakfast but the dinner wasn’t as good as some other wineries we ate at. Don’t get me wrong it was still enjoyable. My partner had a spa treatment and was very satisfied. It was very pleasant sitting around the fire after dinner and we will be going back. As a must I would suggest you check out the gallery as it was marvelous

Delightful well presented rooms, overlooking the pool and river, was wonderful for the soul. No passing traffic, delicious dinner included a complimentary drink. Breakfast offered choices. Enjoyed the ambience of the tasting room and indulged with some Ministry of Chocolate produce. The grounds are beautifully manicured, encourages meanderings.

Beautiful Property, Great Stay & Friendly Staff

From the minute we arrived we fell in love with this hotel. Its beautiful entrance through the vines was just stunning. The hotel is beautiful, well designed and felt like a home away from home. The staff were all so friendly from the front desk, to the Muse Restaurant (great food also!), the cellar Door and more. I could have happily stayed a few more nights, grabbing a couple of more bottles from the cellar door to enjoy from our wonderful lake view room. We enjoyed numerous conversations with the staff which was great. This was by far one of our favourite M Gallery hotels that we have visited. Thank you for making our anniversary stay a memorable one!

Short holiday to part of Victoria

During a trip to Albury, Nagambie, Griffith & Wagga we stayed et the Mitchelton Hotel just out of Nagambie. The hotel is a little difficult to find due to a lack of signage but when there it is a good place to stay. We enjoyed our stay except for the fact that the A/c only blew cold air after 15 minutes or so. We spoke to the reception and the girl said she would reset it from her desk. Same thing happened again and we finished up wrapped in blankets and then had to get into bed to try and get warm on a very cold night. The receptionist next morning reset it again and it started to blow warm air as we went to breakfast, but was blowing cold again when we got back to the room. I hope they fixed it after that for the next guest. The room was well appointed and the dinning experience was excellent, just spoilt be the freezing cold night we spent there.

Great pick up hidden in regional Victoria, suburb rooms and restaurant. Located in the middle of a vineyard with a towering observation platform to take in the vista. Would be wonderful in summer but is cosy in winter.

Who doesn't want to stay in a great hotel in a winery?

Understated luxury only 90 minutes drive from Melbourne. Close to several other Victoria wineries. We visited Tahbilk, Wine x Sam and Fowles all of which were worth the short trip. Enjoyable meals at the hotel restaurant and electric bikes available for a tour of the vineyard. A bonus was the display of indigenous art in the basement of the tower at Mitchelton. Also the Nagambie Brewery & Distillery is worth a visit and a very good wood-fired pizza.

The suites here are simply lovely. Spacious and comfortable with good views and well facilitated bathrooms. Beds, linens and pillows are comfortable. Televisions in each room (3). Undercover parking is very good. The only detection was the breakfast, though the food quality was very good, a vegan would be hard pushed to find variety from the splendid ingredients.

Dear Blossom55, Thank you for taking the time to leave a detailed review. We are pleased to know that you enjoyed all aspects of your stay with us and especially our spacious, well designed suites. We are also glad to hear you enjoyed the food in our restaurant, our menu is inspired by fresh produce from our estate and through the Nagambie Lakes region. We are more than happy to cater for all dietary requirements.
