ใครอยากหาที่พักผ่อนริมทะเลไม่ไกลจากกรุงเทพฯ ผมขอแนะนำที่นี่เลยครับ เป็นรีสอร์ทเล็กๆแต่บรรยากาศดีมาก การตกแต่งภายในรีสอร์ทสวยทุกมุมเลยมีความเป็นเอกลักษณ์ รับรองได้รูปเยอะแน่นอนโดยเฉาะรูปบาร์ริมสระว่ายน้ำเป็นมุมยอดฮิตของที่นี่ อีกทั้งยังมีโซนสระว่ายน้ำที่เป็นแนวโค้งมน พร้อมทั้งเตียงชายหาดตามมุมของสระจัดได้ดูสวยงามดูลงตัวไปหมด ส่วนบริเวณหน้าชายหาดก็สามารถเล่นทะเลได้ด้วยขึ้นอยู่กับน้ำขึ้น-ลง อย่างวันที่ผมไปช่วงเช้าน้ำทะเลจะขึ้นเต็มฝั่งเลย ห้องพักของที่นี่มีทั้งแบบเป็นห้องที่อยู่บนตัวอาคาร และเป็นวิลล่า ซึ่งในทริปนี้ผมพักห้องเริ่มต้นคือห้อง Lomtalay Executive Room ห้องมีขนาดกว้างกำลังดีเลยสิ่งอำนวยความสะดวกครบ เตียงนุ่มนอนสบาย มีระเบียงนั่งเล่นรับลมทะเล ห้องน้ำก็แบ่งโซนเปียกแห้งอย่างดีมี Amenities ให้ครบ ห้องอาหารของที่นี่ชื่อว่า Ecume restaurant เปิดแบบ all-day dining ผมได้มาทานอาหารเช้าบอกเลยว่าไลน์อาหารเยอะสุดๆ มีให้เลือกหลากหลายทั้งอาหารไทย, American breakfast, ก๋วยเตี๋ยว, ปาท่องโก๋, ซาลาเปา, ข้าวต้ม, สลัดบาร์, เบเกอรี่, เครื่องดื่มร้อนเย็น และอีกหลายๆอย่าง ที่นั่งจะมีโซนด้านในห้องแอร์ และด้านนอกริมทะเล บาร์ของที่นี่ก็ดีมากเช่นกันชื่อว่า SAL Ocean Front อยู่ริมสระว่ายน้ำตกแต่งสไตล์ Tropical เป็นบาร์ที่ทุกคนจะต้องถ่ายรูปจริงๆ

Our stay at Mercure Rayong Lomtalay was absolutely perfect. We opted for the Superior Suite Courtyard Plunge Pool, located on the first floor, which was ideal for our family, especially with kids. The private plunge pool was a good size, bed are comfortable and room are spacious. Just a few steps away from the swimming pool and bar. The highlight of the hotel is definitely its beach and sea. The strong wind and sea breeze were refreshing, kids' pool available and my daughter love it!. Morning walks along the beach were simply superb. The breakfast spread was good and we also enjoyed a delicious dinner at the hotel. Perhaps next time, we'll try the buffet option. The only downside was the limited parking in front of the hotel, which meant having to park further away. However, the car service made up for this inconvenience. Overall, it was a fantastic stay.

The resort in very nice, beach and sea are so relax. Swimming pool is great and wonderful time with my friend. Food is delicious and Food service from Ms. Noon is excellent. Hope to have a chance to revisit again soon with my family and friends.

Everytime I have friends or family members visiting Thailand I would like totake them to visit Rayong city and stay at Mercure Rayong Lomtalay Villas & Resor. I remember last time one of the staff kidding that I'm more 'senior 'than her because I really have come here for many times. Thanks Khun.Jume my old friend and her team everytime arrange some special surprise for my friends or family members, everyone is soooo satisfied with the stay here, no matter the Hotel facilities or the nice staffs here.

Decided to get away from the heavy atmosphere in Bangkok, heading east this time, with two Accor properties in Rayong province looking quite quiet on weekdays in the second week of January. We settled on Mercure Rayong Lomtalay Villas and Resort, as it was 6 months since we visited. Booked for 3 nights at last minute, only villas were available for upgrade, as the suites which we were normally put in on previous visits were unavailable. We opted for the entry level villa which we were shown when the upgrade villa allocated had a layout we found not practical. Other than that, the resort is much as we expected, well maintained by the familiar and friendly team; noted a few of the staff have left, mostly in the reservation and front office department, replaced by new, with additional personnel engaged commensurate with needs. Was not able to set the desired temperature and the outlet was a little on the loud side; these were attended to after breakfast, when we were out. For this minor inconvenience we were surprised, but appreciated the gesture of goodwill from the GM, Mr. Betourne. The breakfast spread is quite substantial for a small resort. The menu for a la carte dining has some new additional offerings. We normally have our meals in the resort restaurant as we find the taste and quality of the food to be good. One small point noted is the outdoor seating, for enjoyment of al fresco dining is looking a little tired after two years exposure to the elements, as with some areas of the wooden decking. Still a nice place to visit, for the tranquility of the sea, clean air and relaxation.
