I went on a short business trip. Although the standard room was okay, I expected it to be no different from a 2-star hotel. I could not get my invoice the day I checked out. I was told it would be emailed to me. after 3 weeks I am still waiting for my invoice. i tried logging a request on their website and there was a technical error. I emailed them a request and got no response. I then tried calling them (2 separate occasions) the first time I was told it would be emailed to me the second time the person answered the call and just kept quiet for 2 min before I cancelled the call. if you just need a bed to sleep on and catch your flight out the next day this could work but if you thinking of staying here for a few nights I would suggest any of the neighbouring hotels

A clean and compact room but dreadful, rude staff. Once with myself and twice witnessed with other guests, two separate members of staff responded to guest quieries with “what do you want me to do about it?”. Really poor service which was just completely unnecessary. Don’t bother asking for an iron, apparently they don’t have enough! I was given an iron and told they didn’t have an ironing board and it wasn’t their problem. The room was clean and small but functional. No air conditioning though. The breakfast offering was poor and mostly gone by 8:45 on the first morning. Completely overpriced when Medica is on at the Messe. Find somewhere else!

Friendly and efficient check in, rooms are well appointed for an Ibis. Large TV with a good range of (mainly German) TV channels. There is an Aldi supermarket just around the corner and the airport can be reached on foot within 15 minutes. I did not try the breakfast.

Having stayed on Ibis hotel around the world I was a bit disappointed by it. The reception team was good and efficient and the room was a good size for a single day stay. (Loved the bathroom though !) The F/B was poor... I could not go to the bar/restaurant in the evening due to a shortage of staff and the breakfast was very poor as well with almost no choice and no pastries at all and the taste was not great... Location wise 15/20min walking from the airport of 5min with the bus directly

I stayed at the ibis Duesseldorf Airport hotel for one night before an early flight from the airport. The Hotel Is located a good 20 minute walk to the Airport Terminal. The staff at the reception was professional and polite. The Hotel itself doesn't have a restaurant so you have to go the Novotel hotel next door for breakfast/dinner etc. That said I had Dinner at the Novotel Restaurant and it was very good. The room itself (510) was clean and modern but very basic, there are no tea and coffee making facilities in the room, there are no wardrobes for your clothes, but worse of all to get to any electric sockets, you have to lie on the bed, look up under the light rail and somehow manage to manipulate your plug into the socket that's very well hidden and very awkward to get to. The bathroom was clean but it had the worst design of shower I've ever seen, the shower tray had no lip on it and the Drain doesn't drain quick enough so bathroom flood. Overall I would say this is a decent hotel to stay at for a night or 2, any longer I would probably choose somewhere else. It is perfect if you need to near the airport.
