Pergamon SP Frei Caneca by AccorHotels

This is a simple hotel but it’s clean and best of all, the staff are so very helpful and friendly. Especially Veronica who is adorable!! Nice breakfast and you can eat well too. Caipirinhas prepared with love. Chicken soup - burger and chips. Thank you all for your smiles.

This hotel is average, at best, but it does have a few positive attributes which makes it worth considering: Pros: Location: It is located just a short walk from the Frei Caneca Shopping Mall which has a lot of shopping (obviously) and numerous dining options, plus a complete supermarket. Staff: The staff is extremely attentive and professional. Breakfast Buffet: Although the offerings are typical of hotels in this price range, they will honor special requests (just ask) and prepare cook-to-order omelets which is unusual in this price range. Room size: My "family" room was quite large and could sleep up to 4 persons (2 adults and 2 children) Cons: Needs Renovation: The rooms are very worn and in need of renovation. No In Room Coffee/Tea Service: There is a mini-fridge, but no in room coffee or tea service, and electric hot water kettles are not available. This is simple inexcusable. Gym: Tiny and in disrepair. 2 treadmills, 2 bikes, and a set of dumbbells. Period. However, only 1 bike and 1 treadmill was operable during my stay! Value: With a sister Accor sister hotel Novotel Sao Paulo Jaragua Conventions located only 6 blocks away (sold out for my stay) offering better rooms and facilities at a similar price, this hotel is a poor value. Bottom line: If the Novotel is unavailable, and you must stay in this area, this hotel is an average option, at best, based mostly on its good location, but it is otherwise difficult to recommend.

We stayed here for 4 nights and found the hotel to be basic but good enough for our purpose. The bed was big and comfy. However the bathroom especially was small and outdated, the shower even had some mould in it which was not nice. The breakfast was good, fruits, bread, coffee, juices, some cakes and hot food. Unfortunately during the night it was quite loud, we could hear a loud whirring noise and also some beeping. If you have a room near the lift like us, you will hear a lot of noise. It was also strange that the room did not have a main light, only one lamp so after sunset the room was very dark.

This is a very nice hotel that I am used to stay. Can’t wait until it becomes Mama Shelter… Pergamon by Accor is very recommended by me to my friends. My preferred room is the reformed mama shelter room.

I had an amazing stay at Pergamon. Everyone working there was so kindly and friendly, I felt very welcomed. The breakfast was very good. Ivanildo de Nascimento, Douglas, Livia and Nicholas were incredibly attentive and nice to me. The room was perfect. No complaints. I recommend highly this hotel. 100%
