A great stay in Movenpick Surabaya City. Clean and comfortable rooms with great AC and wifi. The team are super friendly and the breakfast is a delicious spread. We even enjoyed a massage and a dip in the pool. Location is convenient, close to the airport and in the business district. Thanks so much team!

This is definitely not a hotel catered to foreigners. Firstly, the toilet was not clean. There were molds on the shower tray wall. Toilet bowl had some faeces stuck and had NO BIDET SPRAY. Hotel manager insensitively said only suites have bidet spray. So the rest who have gotten a less premium room have to wash their backside at the shower tray. Breakfast has limited variety and it was not even palatable except for sandwiches set. Although we informed the restaurant that we do not eat beef, they still served us sandwiches with beef and lied that they are not beef. We tld the staff to double check before confirming and it turned out to be beef. Upon learning abt the incident, the manager Cicik was kind enough to prepare breakfast for us the following day with chicken sandwiches. However, history repeated itself for the following day's breakfast. This shows that the manager did not brief her staff. Additonally, we asked for a bucket of ice at night. At first, they said that the bar was closed so there was NO ICE. After further explanation and multiple requests, they provided a bowl of ice. When we feedback why it was not served in a metal container, then eventually a metal bucket of ice was served.However, there were some pleasant times like they did serve me cake and small deco for my birthday. I do appreciate those gestures but overall the service was just mediocre. I will not say this is a 5 star hotel. To be very honest, it is a hotel to cater for transit purposes.

Modern and Clean hotel Despite some issue in the beginning, it was solved when I arrived. Thank you to front office Luthfi, queen. Breakfast was great, Fida (Nurul), Cudiya dan bu Cicik, they welcomed us everyday with warm welcome. One of the best restaurant in Surabaya. You wont regret it! the suite was big, clean n immaculate. View was great. We were here for 4 days and seems not enough. will definitely stay here again

Where the heart is, everything shows. That happens with each and every one of our trips with the Accor Group. The one with Movenpick Surabaya is no exception. The heart was there, from the moment we stepped into the front door. FOM Amalia was there - all smiles, open arms to greet us. GM Eksi was a step away to get us started on our great Movenpick experience once more. It was all hearts, from each and every one we met from the ground floor More Lounge to the 21st, the Patito on 7th. Executive Chef Vanda was there in person to attend to us, whipping up the best meals we've had this trip, ensuring the right level of sweetness or saltiness, just right smoothness and spiciness; perfect as perfection should be. HM Lucky Idris was not far behind to add cheers to every encounter, making light every conversation. And, our room on the 21st was magnificent; couldn't ask for more - every amenity of creature comfort was there - comfortable bed, long bath, mini bar, you name it, they gave it. Through every detail, the heart shows; every greeting, personal and close by name, not from one member, but by every staff that came our way. Clear as daylight, this Accor Movenpick property is all hearts 💕. We were all welled up in our hearts. Thank you, Ibu Eksi; thank you, Pak Lucky, Pak Vanda; thank you, Ibu Amalia. You gave us a fulfilling close to our six days in East Jawa. Be assured we'll be back for more Hearts. Don't lose heart, if we take a little longer to come. Blessings.
