Hotel is in a very nice location, the rooms are modern and clean. For its central location it is very quiet and fresh in the rooms. Claudia working the breakfast was very friendly and made us fantastic tapioca!

The view and location is wonderful, we also got a nice table. The food was really good. The only problem was the service the waitress didn’t know who ordered what, she had to ask to all the tables, and she repeated this 3 times. Drinks took forever to get to our table, we asked for more ice to another waiter and he got mad, he told me why I was ruining my drink.

Good location some 50metera from the beach. Nice staff with a lot of flexibility to deal with the large number of guests… some of the common areas are not too spacious and it can get busy. However in more than one occasion I saw the staff showing a lot of “jogo de cintura” (flexibility) in accommodating the guests in other areas. Breakfast has a great selection to choose from… Denise was very helpful. Very good experience overall!

Novotel Leme is in a perfect location, close to everything, very nice amenities and amazing staff. special shout out to Lukas and Rachel in the reception, the went above and beyond to help us have a great experience in the hotel and in Rio. I recommend their tours. Also, Claudia, who helped us during breakfast was the sweetest and most dedicated person. We were in a group of 14 people, 4 families, loved all of it!

This Summer I was at Novotel Leme at the Copacabana. The hotel is not direct at the Copacabana as might be suggested but one street back. The 4 stars are not “European Standard” I would suggestie 2/3 stars. The staff speaks English at the frontdesk but the others don’t. The rooms are clean, but also out dated and very nosy. There were some people playing loud music and have a party for 3 days in a row till deep into the night. When I complained about this, the staff at the front desk suggested to move us to another room rather than speaking to the people above our room. I was robbed of my phone in the center part of Rio. I asked for help at the front desk. They gave me (the wrong) directions to the police station but no further sympathy or support. When we came back no apologies for giving us the wrong directions and the made additional costs. The breakfast is very nice but also very crowdy. Like I said, maybe we are ‘spoiled’ in Europe but this is not a 4 star experience.
