Think Robinson Crusoe and combine it with a spa retreat and a both visually and gastronomically stunning Japanese restaurant and you have the Banyan Tree. Add the small neighbouring satellite island of Dhawa ( formerly Angsana) and you have an exquisite blend of white sand, turquoise waters and lush tropical vegetation that would grace the cover of any Conde Nast magazine.

beautiful resort with the friendliest staff like Aiman, Prosanta, Shuja, Fipit and Liu. They treated us like we were family and took such good care. Food was absolutely delicious with beautiful views. I will definitely come back again!!!

Calm and beautiful island. Natural beauty. Excellent staff. The rooms are with maximum privacy with private pool and jacuzzi. Food is flavorful. But expected to have buffets. All areas are well maintained and such a good resort for instagram worth fotos.

Nearly ruined experience because of unprofessional behaviour of a hotel worker.

Great resort when it comes to amenities. Food quality is amazing. But as always your stay could be nearly ruined by human factor. We had a special occasion to celebrate- BD. Hotel was informed and promised to assist in organising the dinner. Bear in mind it’s my 12th time visiting resort. An experience was marred by the behaviour of the staff named Gulzar. Russian speaking receptionist who acted unprofessional, racist and arrogant towards us (group of 5 women), so we have to get higher management involved im order to organise a dinner for the birthday lady. As the recurrent customer it is a disappointment to see how standards going down with a time. I can give more detailed feedback upon establishment request.

It's my first time of holiday here , and I must say housekeeping does a great job in maintaining the room clean. Bed is made up nicely , floors and bathroom squeeky clean.Special thanks to Shuja! always polite and humble, keep it up ! Thank you so much for everyone
