The island is paradise, the service even better! We went with two children who are very fussy eaters and the chefs cooked them wonderful food exactly as asked for every meal. We love food and it was first class. We have never been looked after so well, could not fault them or imagine how they could look after you any better! Thoroughly recommend and miss it already!

Peaceful and restful resort, great people and staff.. I keep coming back to this place it’s just different.. it’s what you need away from busy life .. a beautiful escape . Thank you liu for your hospitality and warmth welcome. Food quality for in villa dinning can be improved but other than that everything been great!

Our First time on the Maledives and we will definitely come back to Vabbinfaru. Super friendly staff will be around you and will make your Holiday fantastic. Very clean beaches and many Fish of you want to go snorkeling. Thai and japanese Restaurant for lunch and Dinner.

Banyan Tree Vabbinfaru appears to be evolving, the decor and room upgrades give a classic calm Maldivian feel and the evolution of the island infrastructure will add even more to this fantastic destination. If snorkeling is your interest this island has a great reef to explore, we managed to swim alongside sharks, stingrays and even a turtle in the sea grass just off shore from the marine centre. Having visited the Maldives previously we had high hopes Vabbinfaru would meet our expectations of finding paradise again, what we found was much more than paradise. The people at Banyan Tree Vabbinfaru made our time on the island magical, the sadness we felt on departure was because of them, their kindness to us and especially our daughter Sienna will be remembered forever, or until what feels at this moment, inevitably our next visit. Greeted by Liu on the jetty following our very swift arrival from the airport, she pointed out the island highlights and left us to discover at will, our Beachfront villa was ready on arrival mid morning, which was absolutely fantastic, perfectly placed for our privacy, access to the sea, or the new infinity pool bar and restaurant of the Japanese themed Madi Hiyaa. All Inclusive dining package, a new concept of Saffron restaurant on the main beach serves breakfast, by a great buffet selection along with egg station, again at Lunch by daily changing Al a carte menu and in the evenings the dinner menu is by a fantastic buffet every other evening and Al a carte the remaining nights. The chef Rajesh takes care of the excellent Buffet BBQ station. Special mention must go to each of the servers making our meals fantastic Zameer and his talent for origami gifts, and the always happy Sejal, Fipit, Lynn, Ahmad and also Vicky at the fantastic (also included in AI) Madi Hiyaa thank you all for a fantastic week and always taking the time to entertain our daughter. December '24 will never be forgotten for our family, all of the Banyan Tree people made it more memorable than we could have ever wished.

Stunning hotel, staff, food, accommodation and restaurants with the benefit of being able to visit Dhawa, their sister island, which has an exceptional house reef via a regular boat service. Highlights: Exceptional and happy staff throughout Stunning Location Madi Hiyaa restaurant is a beautiful sustainable almost cathedral like building with exceptional staff and food. Its made entirely of bamboo and shaped like a Stingray (Madi). The ability to relax during the day at it's infinity pool and enjoy the splendid sunsets laying on the Catmaran style trampoline nets which suspend over the water just adds to the pleasure of this structure. Good House reef which is being improved through a program of sustainable reef maintenance Great food at all three restaurants. Tradition design throughout the island which is also elegant and luxurious including beautiful and well thought out villas with hot tub / jacuzzi and plunge pool... all with sea / beach views. Relaxed and friendly atmosphere A lot of people wonder how you fill your day on a small island such as Vabbinfaru... suffice it to say we struggled to fit it all in some days... Breakfast, boat trip to other island for snorkelling, back for lunch, swim at the infinity pool / plunge pool, a sail on the Hobie cat, watch the sun set, get showered and casually dressed for dinner, a few drinks at the bar to watch some entertainment or play a few games of pool, walk down the jetty to watch the sealife in the clear waters or sit on the nets at the Madi Hiyaa watching sleeping sharks. Back to the villa for a jacuzzi and then sleep and repeat. In summary we had an amazing time and were so well looked after by Waheed and his team who always remembered our names. A special mention and thanks to: Shuja ( Housekeeping) thank you keeping our villa so clean and tidy and replenishing our mini bar with our chosen drinks Elisa and all the other staff of Madi Hiyaa The Chef and Kitchen staff of Madi Hiyaa... you guys rock! Sejal of Saffron restaurant who always made us feel so welcome Egg chief at Saffron restaurant. Sorry I have forgotten your name but your omelettes are amazing The lady at reception who wears the Hajib headscarf (sorry I have forgotten your name), your smile, warm welcomes and hospitality brought an additional smile to our faces each day. Head ofSecurity - so lovely to speak to on several occasions whilst were watching the marine life on the jetty most nights Waheed for making such a wonderful happy team and looking after their welfare by improving back of house facilities... keep on playing football and scoring goals against the youngsters... they love it. I have been to Maldives many times, Banyan Tree Vabbinfaru far exceeds all others I have visited... keep up the amazing work Team Vabbinfaru and thank you so much for making our stay with you so special
