Tino was an absolutely wonderful butler. He went above and beyond to accommodate our kosher needs and sabbath needs. We would love to have him at our service again next visit.

What an amazing spa experience from top to bottom. First the space… calming, soothing and gorgeous. The staff… huge smiles, welcoming, kind and attentive. Finally the treatments… oh my gosh. Some of the best massages and facials we have ever had. Highly highly recommend.

Banyan Tree Spa experience

My experience at the Banyan Tree Spa was amazing, I booked the tea scrub followed by a massage. My masseuse was called Patcha and she was both kind and great at her job; she made me feel comfortable and explained all the treatment throughout. The only complaint I have is that it didn’t last forever!! I would happily book a massage with Patcha again and am so sad to leave. Thank you Banyan Spa and Patcha!

Terrible hotel with zero relax and tranquility

You are better off staying in Bangla Road Patong. It will be more peaceful and tranquil. If you are looking for a relaxing 5 star hotel this is not the one for you. The hotel rents out one of their function areas for private parties, in this case a large group from INDIA. Loud music with so much base you feel it in your chest whilst laying in bed trying to sleep. Called the reception numerous times. First they offered me ear plugs. You stay in a 5 star hotel and you are offered earplugs because a certain group of people are partying past mid night. Totally unacceptable. Then they offer to move us to another villa at 11pm at night in the pouring rain. I am not joking. So clearly a group from INDIA’s party takes precedence over all other guests sleep and peace. Called again and I was told clearly that the music will not be turned down and thats just the way it is. Then the manager Jay arrived at our villa and explained the music will stay on until 2am. He again offered to move us to another villa in the pouring rain. He was very apologetic but alas the music will not stop. Not what you would expect from a 5 star sanctuary hotel and spa. Unfortunately the golf course was equally disappointing. Not a single tee box was usable. They were all dug up and being replaced. None of the bunkers were operational, all GUR. The golf course looks like it’s actually being constructed. None of this is communicated when you pay your green fees. Definitely wont be back to Banyan Tree in Phuket or any of their other locations. Think twice before you book here. And now cue the standard “owners response” below: “Thank you for your feedback we are sorry for any inconvenience caused. We have notified the team bla bla bla”

Our team did their utmost to recover the situation on the spot and offered an upgrade to our Double Pool villa as well as extending an invitation to enjoy a complimentary relaxing day at the Spa as an immediate gesture of goodwill. We fully understand and respect your decision regarding this arrangement. Regarding the golf course, please be informed that we have a comprehensive renovation plan scheduled to commence within the next two years, aimed at enhancing the overall quality and guest experience of the course and its facilities. While we cannot change the impression left by your most recent visit, we would be truly grateful for another opportunity to welcome you back in the future. We remain committed to restoring your confidence in our resort and to providing you with the seamless, relaxing, and genuinely caring experience that Banyan Tree Phuket is known for. We spent 10 days in this amazing resort. Location is great, rooms and food absolutely great, stuff extremelly willing to help if it was necessarry, constantly keeping smile and vwry friendly.
