We were a large group of 28 including kids from India and stayed for 4 nights. While the property is overlooking the beach, the overall experience left much to be desired. The F&B and overall service is not upto mark. The food taste is surprisingly not good.

The location is 5 star, the hotel was pleasant, food was nice… on 2 occasions when we decided to eat in, they didn’t have my first choice but still delicious all the same. Bring your own water to the pool bar as there is no iced water dispenser. Cocktail happy hour between 5-6pm at the pool bar is brilliant, however cocktails are very expensive and tasted more like mocktails. They have a great gym, however no disability ramp from gym to restaurant as my friend had mobility issues. From 6pm every night except Sunday night, you will hear Nikoy guitarist play his soulful tunes, which created a beautifully relaxing and fun vibe… he is definitely worth a listen too….highly recommend the rooftop bar from 7-8pm for happy hour also. The room didn’t have a properly working minibar (& for the ladies no hair conditioner…) they provide a great free buggy service to the top of the driveway hill and also a taxi service to Kamala for 200 baht if you need essentials from Big C. The salon is very very expensive and you will find alternative salons around the area at more affordable prices, can highly recommend Panwaad Massage Salon, the ladies are fantastic at what they do… can get there with the free buggy service.

Novotel Phuket Kamala Beach is a beautiful beachfront property located around 6–7 km from the main Patong Beach area, the heart of Phuket’s nightlife and dining scene. If you’re looking for a peaceful and relaxing holiday away from the hustle and bustle, Kamala Beach is a great choice. The hotel itself is quite large, with plenty of rooms, an infinity pool overlooking the sea, a beachside restaurant, and even a sea-facing gym perfect for those who enjoy working out with a view. The property has direct access to Kamala Beach, which is clean and quiet compared to Patong. The breakfast buffet was very good, with a decent selection for vegetarians, though the spread could include a few more options. However, our room was located in a block slightly away from the main areas of the resort, which made access to the pool and restaurant a bit inconvenient. We requested a change, but the staff mentioned that the room type and location had already been pre-assigned as per our booking, so it couldn’t be altered. Overall, I’d say this hotel is ideal for travelers looking for a relaxing beachside stay with scenic views and a calm atmosphere, rather than those seeking nightlife or a lot of nearby dining options. For peace and tranquility Kamala Beach is perfect. For action and entertainment Patong would be better. i extremely loved this hotel me and my wife stayed here for 2 nights only from portugal as we were dining and hosted by shuyaa who is a staff at dinner in the restaurant. He is very attentive, kind and have good communication skill have seen very less people having this in the hotel. truley deserves the recognization thankyou shuya for making our dinner memorable. ​Our stay at your hotel was truly amazing. We couldn't be happier with our choice to visit this country and stay here. The staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive, and the service was outstanding. We will definitely recommend this hotel to our friends and family.
