If the word 'perfect' could be used to describe a hotel, Banyan Tree is it. Our 5-night stay was breathtaking from the moment we arrived until we left. Situated in the Laguna Bay compound, Banyan Tree sits as the crown jewel. It is perfectly positioned between the natural lagoons, providing fantastic views, serene nature, and excellent amenities. They also have their own access to Bang Tao Beach. ​Everything about this hotel was impeccable: the amazing staff, the location, the ambiance, the villas, the pool, and the food. Every restaurant is top-notch in its own right. Their spa is second to none; I had the best Thai massage of my life, thanks to my wonderful therapist, Kiki. ​I highly recommend upgrading to the Lagoon View Villas as they offer unparalleled views. This was my first stay at a Banyan Tree hotel, and it definitely won't be my last.

The hotel is expansive but flat so easy to get around. Beautifully maintained. Buggy’s arrive promptly to take you where you want to go and bikes are free to use within the hotel grounds. Breakfast is amazing and sitting outside was a must for us as inside was quite loud and felt busier. The beach which is accessible from the hotel is stunning and gorgeous to walk a few miles on. Or you can get the free shuttle to the Rava club. The hotel itself is within the Laguna complex which definitely feels less authentic Thailand. Free shuttles take you to the Canal village which is where the laguna shops and restaurants are. I didn’t like it there as it felt fake so we went to Boat Avenue on the hired scooter each evening. So easy just leave the laguna and it’s there and has everything you need and it’s a large town type area. And you feel you’re back in Thailand. The signature pool villa is great. The staff as most reviews from Thailand state are amazing. Every single member of staff is helpful, kind, smiling, professional, so polite and so impressive. Thank you Banyan Tree Phuket for an amazing week.

Amazing staff with exceptional attention to details. Food in the Saffaron and Hojo were outstanding and highlighted with the impeccable restaurant staff. Our server, Eye, was particularly attentive to our dinning experience. We dined at Saffaron 3 times during our stay and each time outmatched the previous.
