Genuinely the most incredible, wonderful and beautiful resort, with some of the friendliest and most helpful staff. We could not believe the level of service and detail. Lilik and Daus were incredible in keeping our room and villa in great shape. The front desk and restaurant staff also consistently went above and beyond. I cannot reccomend Banyan Tree in Bintan enough.

It was really Amazing, All the staff is the best ever and Kasir was also soooo kind. I hope to Come back soon...The villa on the rocks was an amazing experience with a beatiful view!The BBQ-dinner was fantastic .So Banyan Tree Bintan Thank you for everything, see you soon for sure!🙏

Celebrated husband's 50th birthday. Housekeeping team Lilik, Firdaus, David, Adi did a fantastic job of decorating the room when we went out for dinner. Very pleasant surprise. They also waited for us to sing him a birthday song. Very nice gesture!

The Banyan Resort offers peace and tranquility on a peninsula in the rainforest. Butterflies and birds will visit your villa and tree frogs dance across your plunge pool as darkness falls. If your Lucky a an iguana will eye you warily on the way to breakfast or a Macaque chatter at you from the trees. Mosquito nets will keep less welcome visitors away over night and add a touch of romance. The view from the veranda is of jungle and sea with other villas cleverly placed to be barely noticeable amongst the verdant vegetation. There are a variety of food options available but the Indonesian food is delicious and we didn’t get past it. The local fresh coffee is too if you can break away from your cappuccino or latte. There is much to do if you want to keep busy, but the resort lends itself to quiet reflection and relaxation. The yoga guru is excellent and well worth getting up early to take part. His pranayama practise is invigorating and the view from the yoga hut out over the South China Sea makes balances a pleasure. The staff make everything seem effortless. Endlessly happy to help, polite and smiling, nothing seems too much trouble. They appear in electric buggies at a moments notice to whisk you off to your chosen pursuit or destination. Prices are very reasonable for meals, drinks and activities. And if you want to travel further afield, taxis too are not expensive and quickly arranged. All in all the perfect place to recharge and reconnect.

Location and view were fantastic. Villa is dated but kept very clean and pleasant. Mainly rocky but access to a nice sand beach shared with other hotels . Convenient for the excellent Laguna golf course. Lovely surprise set up of our room for our anniversary, thank you David, Daus and Lilik. Room to improve…. Breakfast quality was ok but nothing special. Also the over easy egg was completely over cooked. Tennis not possible on the court at golf club because no hitting partner or coach available during my stay.
