The Fairmont is located about 30 minutes outside of Marrakech and covers an area of over 200 hectares, including a very beautiful golf course. About 80% of the guests are from France or French-speaking countries and many came with children. However, we hardly noticed the children due to the hotel's own kids club and the very spacious pool area. The staff also speaks very good English throughout. The resort is so large that you can always order a driver to take you from the pool to your room in an electric buggy, for example. From our room (Residence C) it was exactly 1 km to the clubhouse of the golf course. Due to the spaciousness, it is very quiet in all rooms. There are only two restaurants for dinner (Italian and Arabic) and sushi in the bar area. The quality of the food is excellent! Breakfast is appropriate for a 5-star hotel with a wide selection. There is a 5% service charge on all consumptions in the hotel! On the one hand, this is pleasant because you don't have to worry about tipping, but not every service is worth 5%. All the staff, from the gardener to the bellboy, are extremely friendly and you are always greeted and asked if everything is okay. Only with the waiters were we sometimes surprised at how little they were coordinated or trained. Sometimes they lacked attention and speed. It was also interesting to see that the waiters did not know which dishes or drinks were on the menu, so you always had to point to order. This does not detract from the generally very good experience in the hotel, but for a hotel in this price range, everything should be fine. For example, a coke costs 7 euros, a beer 10 euros and a bottle of wine at least 50-60 euros - there is virtually no limit to how much you can spend. The caddymasters on the golf course could also provide a better service. Only a few of them were helpful and friendly, and since we were there over the holidays and the course was fully booked, there was quite a bit of chaos at times. We played 5 times and the fastest round was completed in 3:45 hours, the longest in 4:55 hours, which was no longer acceptable. Every group is required to play with a caddy (20 euros plus tip), which the club could actually use to monitor the pace of play. Fitness center and spa are very well equipped and offer their own pools, as does the golf course. This means that even when the hotel is fully booked, it does not feel overcrowded. Room service also worked well. We also used the laundry service (completed within 8 hours!) and the rooms were cleaned very well every day. Night service was also available. All in all, a great facility, especially if you want to escape the hustle and bustle of the city after a few days. In terms of price, it is at the upper end of the acceptable range, especially in the high season, but you also get value for your money, which is why we consider it to be justified. Smaller improvements in service would be desirable, but even so, we can highly recommend the hotel for golfers and/or families.

This property is a Paradise. Quiet, splendid, luxurious, spacious. Professional and lovely team and service. Amazing food (from breakfast in our villa to Italian and Moroccan Restaurants). The villa is so big with all facilities and our own Hammam. I wish to be back again. Really a 5 star ++ property.

Not our first time here, actually the third in 5 years. As a diamond Accor member, as someone who booked directly with the hotel (and overpaid vs online platforms) , as someone who booked long time in advance, I Wrote the hotel with 2 simple requests: - the first building, to avoid long walks by night in the cold Marrakech weather - the highest floor with my room category (atlas view suite) None of them were met. So it’s just useless to try to get the hotel to listen to your préférences or ask them way in advance or book directly with them or be a loyal returning customer, it won’t change anything to the way you’re treated We’re supposed to spend the whole week now here, and the stay already started really bad… Let’s see if by any chance this can get better…

This is a spectacular resort. The villa we had was incredible. The service from every person was 100💯. The food was incredible everywhere we ate. The oriental restaurant music and dancing was so fun! The facilities are amazing: Tennis , golf, spa, gym and on and on. The landscaping is like a private garden. Yesterday there were candles lit all over the resort and pathways. Magical. The resort is well located , about 25-30 mins to the Medina. I’ll be back.
