Went with my partner, we enjoyed our stay a lot, everything we neeeded waas nearbyy , Novotel truly made ouur stay in Marrakech impecable, we enjoyed the food and the room's beautiful view, the staff was really sweet and the rooomss were veryy nice

I have stayed here once before, about fifteen years ago and I chose this hotel based on that experience, which was excellent. I would stay here again, however this hotel simply isn't as good as it used to be. Firstly, it was really hot when we arrived and when we went to the room, we found that the air conditioning wasn't working. We went down to reception to ask about this and were told that it had been turned off throughout the hotel. This resulted in us having to sleep with the balcony door and window open all night and as we were facing onto the street outside, there was the constant noise of music, shouting and loud vehicles. The temperature may well be cool for the locals in November but it was hot for us. It was even far too hot for my wife and she's from Bangkok! The room itself was very comfortable and all the staff were friendly in this hotel, speaking a variety of Languages including English, French and Arabic. When I stayed here before we had pay per view movies and loads of other English language options on the TV, however these days there is just a generic selection of Arabic and French TV, with just CNN in English. Not that I really want to watch TV whilst visiting Marrakesh, however it would have been nice to have the option of a movie or some TV when we once had an early night. The pool area is great, however due to it's position appears to be constantly in the shade and so the pool is freezing cold. I don't know what it's like in summer but in November it's certainly too cold for someone to get in and for it to be remotely pleasant. The staff, as I say, are amazing - welcoming and friendly, with the breakfast staff being especially so! The breakfast was great and is buffet style with lots of options for all tastes, however as is to be expected it has a heavy Moroccan/French theme. So yes, I would stay at this hotel again due to it's location, which is easy walking distance to the Medina and Jardin Majorelle for example, however much improvement is needed. For a major hotel group who have a hotel in a hot country, I would expect air conditioning to be 'on demand' and don't expect to be told for my £120 per night that it's simply not available during hot weather, presumably to save money.

Reception service is terrible, slow, don’t understand English, errors in my invoice still not sorted by 2 duty mangers and key card don’t work after 2 days. Bed is bad condition, room noisy, and gym is non existent.
