Great hotel - shame about the noise

It's difficult to know how to rate this hotel as for majority of things we had no complaint - the staff were absolutely lovely, great breakfast, the housekeeping excellent and the riad itself (we stayed at Si Said) was a beautiful building. However our experience was significantly marred by the intrusively loud lobby music which was played for long stretches of time during the day and late into the evening (this particular riad is the main restaurant for the other riads). We don't mind the noise from conversation, but the 'muzak' just wouldn't quit! As the room openings face inwards, with shutters and single glazing, there was no way to effectively block out the sound. In addition, there was intermittent mechanical noise directly below our room coming from what we think was a macerater from a toilet below which regularly woke us during the night. We really needed our riad to be a quiet oasis from the frenetic streets outside and unfortunately we were left exhausted from lack of sleep by the end of our holiday.

This is why the background music in our restaurant is always kept at a low volume and is turned off by 10:00 PM each evening. Additionally, all our rooms are fitted with double-glazed soundproof windows to ensure a peaceful environment. We would also like to mention that this is the first comment of this nature we have received in quite a long time. Nonetheless, we greatly value your input, as it helps us remain attentive and continue to enhance the experience we offer our guests. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you again and provide you with a perfectly serene stay. Thanks you

From the moment I arrived at Angsana Heritage Collection Riads in Marrakech, I was welcomed with genuine warmth and outstanding hospitality. The check-in process was smooth and personal, with the staff offering traditional Moroccan tea and a lovely introduction to the property. Every member of the team was exceptionally friendly, professional, and always ready to assist with a smile, making me feel truly at home. The riad itself is a stunning blend of traditional Moroccan architecture and modern comfort. Breakfast was delicious and served in a charming courtyard setting—an experience in itself. I also enjoyed a traditional hammam and massage arranged by the riad, which was a perfect way to unwind after a day of exploring the city. Location-wise, the riad is ideally situated within walking distance to many of Marrakech's key attractions, yet still offers a peaceful retreat from the busy streets. Highly recommended for anyone seeking an authentic and luxurious experience in the heart of Marrakech.
