My husband and I celebrated our 11th wedding anniversary at Fairmont Royal Palm, and the experience was exceptional. We received a warm welcome with drinks and a beautifully decorated room. Breakfast was great, and the staff were attentive and friendly throughout our stay. Getting around the large property was easy thanks to the responsive buggy staff. A special thank you to Ghita, who went above and beyond by accommodating a late checkout and upgrading us to a bigger, cosy room. My husband also enjoyed the golf club, with caddies always available. Overall, it truly felt like a home away from home with a royal touch. Highly recommended!

Beautiful friendly hotel some way out of Marrakesh

This is beautiful hotel in beautiful grounds with excellent facilities and staff who go all out to be friendly and helpful. It has three good-sized swimming pool which are free to use along with excellent gym/fitness facilities and, I understand, sauna and steam room. It is a little pricey - even the hotel ATM gave an appreciably worse exchange rate than a hotel closer to Marrakesh centre. It is a long way from the centre of Marrakesh. The 30 minute ride cost me 370 MAD in a hotel car and 250 MAD ( before tips) on the return journey by taxi. The room had low lighting to use overnight, but it was pot luck as to whether we could switch that on and everything else off. Otherwise this hotel is superb and a good choice for a rest, particularly when it’s sunny so you can enjoy the grounds and view of the Atlas Mountains.

So, this trip was a birthday gift for my husband. When you walk into the hotel you’re greeted with excellence, the beauty of the facilities is amazing. Additionally we used the spa facilities, the heated pool, massages were all top notch. I truly appreciate them making his birthday special, if looking for a luxurious experience this is where you should come.
