A wonderful hotel in a great location, directly across from the Willhelm memorial church - an amazing Chrstmas market. The hotel is close to stations, ships and amenities. Comfortable room, great toiletries, firm, comfy bed and an incredible view over the zoo and wider city. Breakfast should not be missed. Lots of choice, cooked items, fruit, bread choice, meat, cheese, eggs, pancakes, rice pudding.... and delightful middle Eastern eggs. Something for everyone. Watch the zoo come to life while you eat your breakfast. Staff friendly, apart from in the amazing roof top bar. Our only disappointment was the bar was closed one evening with no alternative offered. Paying hotel guests were shut out due to an external party. We enjoy a late drink in the hotel bar and hotel residents should not be put second. Big learning point for the hotel - don't forget your core business. That said, overall excellent and I would go back.

A Cozy Stay, a Great View, and Bless That Hairdryer

I’ve now stayed at the 25hours Berlin for the fifth or maybe sixth time. At this point it basically counts as a long-distance relationship, right? Once again, I had a great stay. I accidentally booked a twin room (don’t ask), and although the hotel was fully booked the first night, the lovely reception staff sorted me out with a double room for the rest of my stay without any hassle. The rooms are spotless, clean and cozy, equipped with everything you need (a special nice shower, well-lit mirror, comfy bed and a lot of counterspace) and, most importantly, they come with a real hairdryer. Not one of those sad, plastic travel-sized wind machines that give up halfway through drying your bangs, but an actual grown-up hairdryer. Definitely a big plus! Housekeeping was just as friendly, happily handing over an extra towel on request. Breakfast has everything you could possibly want and then some more. Including currywurst - I personally haven’t yet been hungover enough to try currywurst first thing in the morning, but I appreciate knowing the option exists. I especially love the lobby area around the reception, with its café, hammocks, and workspaces. What else can I say: can't wait to be back!

Overlooking Berlin

The stay was absolutely wonderful! Fantastic view of the Tiergarten and the “Victory Column with its golden angel overlooking Berlin.” The staff were very friendly. But the best part was access to a fantastic sauna with a magnificent view!

A great place, for young people

For young people I'm sure it is super cool. When you get older, you like good lighting, closets to put your clothes in, separate shower. Hallway and room are very dark. No separate shower, very large, very black, very sharp-edgy sink. No closets, so suitcases on the floor with clothes everywhere. Beds on a platform which isn't great if you have to go to the toilet at night in the dark. Bedtime book-reading impossible due to poor lighting. Positives: very central and nice location, loads of coffee- and foodplaces nearby. The Monkeybar on the topfloor, the old pickup in the room with some records, the shopping bag, elevator art, and the personnel who were very friendly and helpful. Service was really good.

A very relaxed ambiance

The location of the hotel is good when you like shopping, Kadewe, Gedächtniskirche and a nice walk in the park or Zoo. For sightseeing you need public transportation, bicycle or hop on hop off bus. The first night we had the window open, but at the street side it was very noisy and even on the 8th floor you could hear people on the street talking and sirenes of police and firefighters. The staff at the reception was really great, very helpful, kind and empathetic. The room was clean, with a nice view but we missed some stowaway space. The bicycles we rented were good but unfortunately we could not reserve them for the next day so next day the suitable bicycle was not there anymore. We booked a table at the NENI restaurant which was outstanding. Good service, great selection of wines and a very surprising menu card. Excellent tasteful food. Reservation recommended. We had a drink at the Monkeybar where the ambiance and the music was super. The staff at the bar was very friendly and made us feel welcome.
