Hotel bem localizado, junto à centro comercial que é uma mais valia. Receção 24 horas muito importante para quem chega a horas tardias é excelente relação qualidade/preço.

We paid for a superior double room but did not get as shown in the photos for that exact room - only one chair and no recliner, no work desk, just a small table. When we arrived it was not immediately obvious where the car park was - hubby went up to find out where - wasn’t tokd everything. Was told B6 parking spot - when we drove in there was only 2 left and both were disabled parks. We drove into one till we found out more info. The guy at reception was not friendly with his response - said we could park anywhere - he could’ve said that at the start! Unfortunately this parking is for Novotel and anyone else, so it took ages to drive around looking for an empty space! We had a coffee maker but paper cups to put it in - really???? So we used the bigger and better bathroom cups. Come on Novotel - how hard is it to supply a good coffee cup? Bed comfort was so so, shower was good, bathroom very nice, shopping centre in same building a bonus. Doubt that we’d book this hotel again, let alone come to this boring town.

I am sorry that your experience did not meet your expectations; please allow me to express my sincerest apologies. We have many superior room models, with or without desk, with or without sofa bed, with closed or open shower, etc. Our team always does its best to give the rooms to the tastes of our guests. This is why you should not hesitate to let us know your preferences before your stay or during check-in so that we can best satisfy you. Concerning the parking, it is a parking lot that we share with the shopping center so it may indeed be crowded during the day. We also know that the entrance is not the easiest to find due to the road works in Charleroi. We nevertheless try our best to locate the entrance for you using a map and the route to follow as well as certain practical details to better direct our customers. Place B6 is in fact the closest to the elevator but you can park elsewhere without problem. Regarding the cups, we understand that it is impractical but we are working to permanently eliminate plastic for the sake of ecology and prioritize paper/cardboard over plastic. It's nice that you were still satisfied with the rest and we thank you for sharing your satisfaction with us. We try to improve the quality of our service day after day in order to satisfy you. Stayed for 4 nights with a Leger Holidays battlefield group. Hotel is centrally located. Upon entry from street level you have to wait in a small lobby for the lifts up to the Reception which is on the 2nd floor. This is a bit chaotic with a coach load. Upon check in you have to go into a further lift up to the rooms. Rooms are of an ultra modern design and are fairly spacious and comfortable. Our room (327) had one of the basins that is located in the bedroom immediately in front of the WC room and shower room which are separate which makes access in and out of these rooms a bit restricted if someone is using the basin. Also the basin didn't drain away very well which left an awful smell. (This was reported and rectified on our last day) The doors to the WC and Shower rooms were glass (Mirrored) which I feel is a little hazardous. Plenty of sockets & USB ports, including to both sides of the bed. However one side didn't work at all. Breakfast was chaotic with not enough space for a coach party. Staff very slow replenishing food and in clearing tables. They seemed to be walking around in a daze most of the time. The jewel in the crown has to be the bar. Well stocked with local beers plenty of staff who were friendly and efficient.

Fantastic hotel, really couldn’t fault it. We changed our booking to this hotel from one that we had booked in Brussels centre, as our flight got into Charleroi at 10pm and the reviews for transport from the airport were poor. So glad we did, it worked out cheaper and we had a great stay. It was really easy to get to from the airport. The hotel is modern, clean, welcoming, and the staff were fantastic. Our room was huge and so comfortable. We felt that the bar prices were very reasonable and the atmosphere was relaxing. The train/bus station is a 5 minute walk away over the river, and the return train into Brussels was €20 return for 2 of us. Lots of eating options in the shopping centre and close to the hotel, although nothing seemed to be open very late. We found the little supermarket at the bottom of the escalator in the shopping centre really useful. We would definitely stay here again!
