Regarding the room category and the view, I would like to clarify that the higher room category you booked refers to the size and features of the room, and nowhere in the room description is it stated that this category guarantees a high floor or a particular view. You paid for a larger room, rather than specifically for a view of Prague or a room on a higher floor. Of course, if you had contacted us before or during your stay and mentioned that a higher floor or a particular view was important to you, we would have been more than happy to check the possibilities and do our best to accommodate your request, subject to availability. Unfortunately, we only became aware of your concerns through your review and subsequent emails, after you had already left the hotel. At that point, there was unfortunately no possibility for us to change the room or address the matter while you were still with us. Regarding the construction site, we fully understand that this may negatively affect the view from some of our rooms. However, the construction is taking place on neighboring property and is outside of our control. As for the air conditioning, our system is centrally controlled and allows guests to adjust the temperature within a limited range around the hotel's set temperature. This is part of our building's climate-control system and is also connected to our environmental commitments as a Green Key certified hotel. We are sorry if the temperature in your room was uncomfortable during your stay. Regarding the 1,000 CZK security deposit, this is a standard hotel procedure used by hotels around the world. It is a security guarantee for any potential additional charges or damages during the stay and is not related to the room category or the fact that the reservation has already been paid. We understand that you may not have expected it, but it is a standard check-in procedure rather than an additional charge for the room. We are genuinely sorry that your overall experience did not match your expectations. At the same time, we hope this clarification helps explain some of the points mentioned in your review.
