Not recommend. Very old Mercure faling apart. Bad service. Poor English. We wanted just the keys at 14.40 because we had an appointment at 15.00. They would not give us any room...while at 9.00 the cleaning lady knocked at our room. So don't tell us we can't have one 20 min before. Parking is 25 euros which is ridiculous for a place outside the city. Finally they wanted us to pay 40 euros extra while my reservation clearly showed that I fully paid. It took 3 people to clear this. Do not go there. Worst mercure I have ever been

We have been received by the only staff in duty at reception who do not speak English. We have been assigned two rooms at 30 degrees C inside and with the Air conditioner Out of order in both rooms. We have arrived at 4h00 pm and asked the housekeeper to put the A/C on. After 1 hour still no cooling and error message on the control unit. We complained to the reception staff who told us no access to technical staff. We reminded him that hotel is described as having air conditioner and asked him TO CHANGE THE ROOMS. He assigned finally two rooms in two different FLOORS whereas it was a mandatory request from our end to have two nearby rooms and DEFINITELY AT THE SAME FLOOR.Because of my handicapped autistic daughter. We have an EU valide Handicapped Parking card and despite the bad adventure with AC in the rooms, reception refused to offer us parking with free of charge. The room was filthy, so was the hallway. The Aircon didn't work and we had an outside temperature of 40 degrees Celsius. Wifi didn't worked either. The only highlight was the friendly front desk staff.

A convenient hotel in the south of Dussoldorf, near to motorways. The building is a bit tired, but is clean and the bedrooms are good. The breakfast is very good. The website still states that it has a bar and restaurant, but this is not true, presumably due to the prevalent staff shortages - why not update the website? A 10 minute walk away is the excellent La Cantina Italian restaurant, strangely in a commercial area. Don't forget the 11 Euros per night car parking at the hotel.

Several complaints to the main desk adressed to to management. They never reply and just don’t about their customer. This hotel need to be renewed and is not at Mercure level you can expect. They should at least talk with their customers
