Comfortable business style hotel.

Stated 3 days, 2 nights. Location close to major roads, airport and football stadium. Nowhere to walk really or see and breakfast is only served to 930 which tells you this hotel is more for business not leisure travellers. Rooms good. Well set out and furniture good. AC worked well and large walk in shower. Staff fine and hotel clean and comfortable. Only gripe, all TV stations are in French!! Overall a fine stay but only good for the odd nights you are passing by.

Chain hotel which has been fully renovated. Plenty of Free Parking, bar and fitness room. Great PRIVILEGE ROOMS well appointed and modern throughout.Espresso machine available in room. On site restaurant serving a small but seasonal menu.

We had a very poor food quality, and few times we were not able to eat it. The menu choice was very poor at the result we eat the same food every day. We registered on half board but at the booking they are not telling you that you will be forced to pay the the food if you eat above 30€. The food price in the menu is too high comparing to the quality and choices. A shame !! No Canal-Plus channel in TV despite other hotels have it.

A really nice and friendly Hotel

We got in really early and they accommodated us without any complaint. We also had a 3 hour wait until our between checkout and our train, but the staff were very nice. The food was delicious. Close to Genas town and that was a delightful walk. The staff were very helpful. This hotel is about 25 minutes out of Lyon, but still very convenient. Definitely will stay in a Mercure again.

The room was very hot. We were provided with 2 floor fans. But they annoyingly shut off after 120 minutes. The window opened over one of the beds, so was dangerous for that beds occupant. Awful instant coffee was provided, but no cream. The hotel was further from airport than expected. A 20 minute drive without traffic. The only option for dining is the hotel restaurant or McDonald's.

We are sorry that the room was too hot, we are currently in neutral period: without heating or air conditioning, however lately there have been abnormal temperatures for the season, that's why we have provided you with fans, you also have fresh water available in the room and we can also provide you with water mist. As for coffee, do not hesitate to contact the reception which is available 24H/24H to bring you cream, or Nespresso coffee. As for your journey, without traffic the airport is only 15 minutes away from the hotel. Finally, concerning the restaurant, you should know that in addition to our restaurant and McDonald's you will find several restaurants in the city center of Genas within 5 minutes of the hotel.
