The William Inglis Hotel Warwick Farm - MGallery Collection 5 stelle

First visit and an eye opener to the world of racing. Extensive grounds have stables as far as the eye can see with manicured gardens as well as undercover amenities for horse sales and conference events. The hotel itself has a spacious reception area leading to a cafe and restaurant. High ceilings and picture windows looking out to Warwick Farm Racecourse gives an airy feel. Access to the hotel not overly mobility friendly. Parking is all outdoors with a set of stairs leading to the hotel entrance. That entrance has a heavy manually opening door. Once inside, the reception desk is to the right. Reception staff efficient and communicative. Our room was decorated with a horse theme. Carpet had jockeys riding horses and cushions/chairs had either little buckles or satin edging. Seating was comfortable and ceiling height curtains well made. The horse theme could have been continued with double wooden stable doors of a sufficient height to provide some bathroom privacy/cosiness. Whilst the toilet and shower doors are opaque glass, does everyone want to see their roommate cleaning their teeth, getting dressed? If so, the little doors could be made to stay open with a latch. Done well, the stable doors would enhance the decor. The delightful rooftop pool highly recommended. Access to it is a lift to the 9th floor then steps or another lift up one level. There’s a bar adjacent to pool but perhaps only open weekends and school holidays.

Second time we have chosen to stay at this hotel. Rooms are comfortable and well appointed. Beds are probably the best feature and the pool is lovely to spend time at also. Only one negative is that the staff in the restaurant are not the happiest. We only had breakfast on our last morning, food was great but the smiles were few and far between (verging on rude efficiency?) However, We will be back. Thank you

William Inglis M Gallery Warwick Farm in a Suite as Diamond. What a let down. The checkin was as perfunctiinary as you could get. No welcome, no mention of status, no upgrade, no mention of breakfast (until I asked), lift location or wifi. The latter was important because the name of the wifi point has nothing to do with the hotel (Riverside Stables from memory) so could be confusing. I normally include a photo of the welcome amenity, but this time there was nothing. Not a card, not a muesli bar, not water - nothing. Not feeling the love so far. The suite itself is nice. Living room and bedroom are all one room. I sometimes book a suite so I can get up early and work without disturbing my wife, but that’s not the case here. Spacious bathroom with shower, seperate bath and stand alone toilet room and large wardrobe space. These rooms should be called deluxe rooms or junior suites. If you open the shower door inwards it hits the shower head. Don’t do this. Location is isolated but fairly quiet and with bell birds in the distance. Quite pleasant. I find the restaurant ok but boring. Servings are large and presented nicely. I would be satisfied here for a night or two but more than that I’d be repeating dishes and it’s not easy to walk anywhere nearby for dinner. Prices with Accor Plus were reasonable. Some specialist items weren’t eligible for Accor Plus but this was clearly explained before ordering. Breakfast was quite good. Made to order eggs, barista coffee, reasonable selection from buffet. The breakfast welcome process was a bit odd. The desk person couldn’t find us, I had to explain I was diamond and she wanted to see my card. Sigh. It was quite a relaxed atmosphere with no children. I guess it’s not that sort of location. Parking is free and open air. I bumped into another couple after dinner and they asked me what I thought of the hotel and their view was the same. Nice rooms but otherwise …. Compare that with my next night checkin at a Mercure for about a third of the room rate where I was made to feel like a king. Totally chalk and cheese. An invite to Christmas lunch at the William Inglis prompted a four day escape from cooking and travelling. Although there was a lot of driving from and back to Coffs Harbour and some visits to friends and relatives along the way. The longer stay was an attempt to miss the mass exodus from Sydney after Christmas. Alas, It did not happen. All I can say is that the relaxed break provided the fortitude for dealing with the crawling traffic and its drivers on Saturday the 28th. With little travel during 2024, we had not visited the hotel for about 12 months. Nevertheless, the welcome was still like coming home and new staff at reception and in the dining room were as cordial, friendly and attentive as we have come to expect from the Williiam Inglis. Of course Louis was on deck to manage the special lunch in the Big Barn which went very well. Too much to eat and drink as expected, and an overall lovely experience over three hours. Congratulations to Louis and the catering team. Our stay in an upgraded room with a range of welcoming treats was nice as always and we thank outr hosts for their attention to such details. Although absent for a Christmas rest we would like to thank Belinda Thomson, General Manager, and Samatha Plant, Operations Manager, for their thoughtful extra treats on Boxing Day. We certainly felt privileged. We hope our thanks and good wishes were passed on. And last, but not least, thank you for looking after the car's needs.

I stayed in this beautiful hotel with my husband during his business trip and I am excited about the enjoyable experience. The place is very nice, the staff very kind. The rooms are very nice, well furnished, comfortable, well equipped, clean and fragrant. A pleasure to stay in this hotel, for the location, for the silence, for the attention to detail. The first night we had the pleasure of taking a very nice room, very spacious and with all comforts. Also the bathroom products are of a higher standard in this hotel. Around four in the morning, I was able to enjoy the sight of the beautiful horses with their jockeys, who trained along the path reserved for them, this too was a great joy for me. The abundant breakfast, for all tastes, excellent fresh and quality ingredients. The next day I had the privilege of giving myself a space all to myself, in the hotel spa. WONDERFUL experience. Stella is a true professional, very good and competent. I had a facial treatment, which lasted more than an hour, with high quality products and with the skill of Stella, who advised me well and then a perfect pedicure, all in a hygienically perfect, pleasant environment, in a 'hushed atmosphere, accompanied by relaxing music, with the help of essential oils that spread a wonderful scent in the air. Thanks to the hotel, to the staff, to Stella. I advice you to stop in this structure, it will be a different, pleasant and unforgettable experience. Le camere sono molto belle, ben arredate, confortevoli, ben attrezzate, pulite e profumate. Un piacere soggiornare in questo hotel, per la posizione, per il silenzio, per la cura dei dettagli. La prima notte abbiamo avuto il piacere di prendere una camera molto bella, molto spaziosa e con tutti i comfort. Anche i prodotti per il bagno sono di livello superiore in questo hotel. Verso le quattro del mattino, ho potuto godermi la vista dei bellissimi cavalli con i loro fantini, che si sono allenati lungo il sentiero loro riservato, anche questa è stata per me una grande gioia. L'abbondante colazione, per tutti i gusti, ottimi ingredienti freschi e di qualità. Il giorno dopo ho avuto il privilegio di concedermi uno spazio tutto per me, nella spa dell'hotel. Esperienza MERAVIGLIOSA. Stella è una vera professionista, molto brava e competente. Ho fatto un trattamento viso, durato più di un'ora, con prodotti di alta qualità e con l'abilità di Stella, che mi ha consigliato bene e poi una pedicure perfetta, il tutto in un ambiente igienicamente perfetto, piacevole, in un 'atmosfera silenziosa, accompagnato rilassando la musica, con l'aiuto di oli essenziali che diffondono un meraviglioso profumo nell'aria. Grazie all'hotel, allo staff, a Stella. Ti consiglio di fermarti in questa struttura, sarà un'esperienza diversa, piacevole e indimenticabile.
