Avoid Accord Hotels altogether as they accept bookings from fraudulent booking agents

This hotel accepts bookings from fraudulent booking sites that imitate them and then charge exorbitant additional fees and charges. The sites look exactly like the Ibis Wentworthville site, even using the hotel name in their email address. However, the quoted price, although similar to the legitimate site, has fictitious fees and charges added, which are charged to your credit card. You cannot cancel the booking or even email them, as their emails just bounce back. Ibis (Accor) are obviously aware of this practice and knowingly accept bookings from these frauds and know their customers are being ripped off. They make no attempt to take any sort of legal action against these fraudsters to prevent them from using their name. Accord will not refund me the overcharge or any other form of compensation. My advice is to avoid Accord (or Ibis) hotels altogether as you cannot be guaranteed the booking website is legitimate and that you aren't getting scammed.

Would like to say that I always have a terrific and pleasant experience at this hotel, Very friendly and kind staff that make you feel welcome on arrival, rooms clean and tidy, great for a budget hotel, plus plenty of easy accessible parking at site. Efficient, friendly, and accommodating check in with ample free parking. Room and air conditioning were clean and tidy with fresh linen and towels. TV and aircon worked well and public transport options available close by. Room was exactly what was required in providing an great night stay. Would stay again and highly recommend.

Body Odour hallway and reception smell absolutely disgusting

I have never smelt a hallway and a reception so bad in my life. Pure stench of Body Odour. They either need to get cleaners in or people will get sick from that smell. Room was okay considering it was cheap but the toilet and shower size was terrible. I could hardly sit straight on the toilet.

Not sure what happened on the day you checked in. The size or the design of our bathroom is the standard of Ibis Budget Hotels. For your next visit you might need to book Ibis Red or Mercure to get a bigger bathroom. The price will be much higher than us. Have a great week ahead. Forrest Pang General Manager

Appena entrato in camera c’erano insetti in tutta la stanza, poi della pulizia non ne parliamo... sporco ovunque.Sono dovuto scappare via dalla stanza e cercare un’altro hotel. Questo non è un hotel, è una stalla!!
