ibis Poznan Centrum 3 つ星

Great option in downtown Poznan - all things in walking distance, very pleasant front-desk employees, clean and perfectly functioning rooms, WiFi worked well... cannot really think of any negatives here.

This Ibis is part of the Novotel building, with the Ibis rooms taking up the first six floors. As a result, rooms are much larger than standard Ibis rooms and bathrooms have a bath with shower overhead (unusual for Ibis). The Bar area is also shared and a decent space to relax in. We didn’t have breakfast either day we stayed, so can’t comment on that, but did use the gym, which is a decent size. The big problem with this hotel is the soundproofing, or lack of it. Certainly you may be lucky and not be disturbed by other bedroom’s doors which are so heavy they bang loudly when closed, or the noise of other people talking until the early hours which seeps through the ventilation system. Unfortunately we were. The trams outside are also quite loud, but they do not run all night. Not all rooms will be affected in the same way, we were just unfortunate on this occasion. The hotel’s location, next to Stare Browar is excellent, especially if you want to do some shopping. The old town is also no more than 15 minutes walk, so for us, the location was perfect. Despite the problems we had with sounds, this is a good, well-priced hotel with pleasant staff. We would stay here again.

This hotel has a good central location within Poznan and is situated right across from one of the main shopping centres and is walking distance from the main square/old town. The hotel itself is two hotels on one site (I have stayed in one other hotel with this business model and I don't think it works particularly well) It was pretty chaotic when we arrived due to a conference or several conferences, had we known in advance that it would be this busy we would have altered our arrival time. The staff appeared to be trying their best, however, were clearly under pressure leading to less than the best service at the time - even with prior online check-in. We drove to Poznan and when we arrived the car park was full and also chaotic, there is alternative car parking across the street in the shopping centre (advance warning of this would also be beneficial). The room was clean and tidy, however, we had reduced space due to the sofa having been made up as a bed (unnecessarily) and there is very limited hanging space/storage due to the wardrobe structure. It was also very hot (possibly due to the type of mattress topper) and the tram line is outside which is noisy whenever they pass by. There is a bar, restaurant and wellness space within the hotel that we did not access for our stay. Overall, I do not recognise the other positive reviews that are here as this was not my experience at all. In short, it is a good location but I would not stay here again

From the first impression to the time I'm writing this, my stay at the Ibis Poznań Centrum has been delightful. My room is spacious, quiet, extremely well-designed and very fresh. The bed and bedding was of high quality, and the bathroom also definitely highly functional. I was given a handicapped equipped room, so the bathroom was somewhat different but served me very well. There were Polish waters provided on the work desk as well as a kettle, coffee and tea. Very generous numbers and varieties of plugs for electronics were strategically located, and made my computer work near effortless. The food was also very good, and the entire complex extremely well-designed and maintained. My room maintenance professional was Dara, and she should be highly commended for her competence, efficiency and genuine interest in providing superior service. All in all, this was an excellent stay, and with the Center and a huge Mall next door, as well as a McFit gym, I couldn't ask for a better place. Very well done, Ibis Posnań Centrum!

Good location in centrum van Ponan. Parking can be in underground from hotel or in schoping mol. Good, cleane rooms. Bar in evening nice en relaxsing. Breakfast was realy good. We are realy injoy ouer stay. Unfortunately only one day. Thanks voor small surprise! Bravo!
