we are middle class Family from Bangladesh ! We are not wealth enough to stay all 5 days here; so, we stayed in another cheap hotel for 4 nights & stayed 1 nights here ! AALLAH was merciful to us; we were able to stay at 13th February = which was the Shob-e-Barat Night + Int. Womens' Day + her BirthDay !!! The Kid also had full fun in the Room. I took Hundreds of pictures. We will remember our stay for a long time in our Life.

I have been staying at this hotel for last two years.staffing is really good.check in counters,porters are excellent and in restaurant chef called Nisar Ahmed went out his way and made for my wife special Indian onion bhaji that was excellent. I will be coming again with my whole family in August in sha Allah.much appreciated the hospitality of the hotel staff.

Currently staying in room 1630 with my wife and 3 kids. We came here over a week ago to perform our Umrah in Ramadhaan and we leave tomorrow morning. Our experience so far has been amazing. The staff here are friendly and down to earth and always willing to go the extra mile to help. We were given complimentary chocolate cakes and dates and we are supplied with complimentary water every day as part of housekeeping. In the very first few days we were here, my youngest became unwell with a viral illness. The staff called us for a few days to check up on my child which I thought was very nice of them. Other good points: - location: very close to the haram - excellent breakfast options - prayer place in level 1 as well as just outside the hotel which is reserved for the people staying in the hotel

Swissotel Makkah is not a hotel, it’s a money-hungry business that preys on pilgrims! I needed to change my check-in dates due to health reasons, but the hotel refused, hiding behind their so-called “booking policy” that I supposedly agreed to. In reality, this is just an excuse to force guests into booking the full 10-day Ramadan package for 54,000 SAR per person, even if they don’t need that many nights. This is nothing but pure greed! The worst part was dealing with their so-called “reservation team.” These are the most unhelpful and cold-hearted staff I have ever encountered. Especially the manager, Anas – an absolutely indifferent, robotic woman who has no empathy for guests or their circumstances. If this is the kind of person Swissotel Makkah employs, then this hotel is rotten to the core. The only two people who showed any professionalism and kindness were a girl at the reception and a guy named Abdullah. They were patient and understanding, but unfortunately, they had no authority to make decisions. Everyone else was nothing more than a roadblock, offering empty excuses instead of real solutions. People come here to perform Umrah, but Swissotel Makkah only cares about money. Even when health is at stake, they refuse to show any flexibility. There is no respect, no service, and no care for guests—only greed and exploitation. If you want to save your nerves, money, and dignity, stay far away from this hotel!

This was our first Umrah experience, with small kids, and we weren’t traveling with a group. This hotel made our spiritual journey incredibly comfortable. Coming from Europe, we weren’t impressed with how things are usually handled locally, but the hotel staff was completely different—polite, always smiling, and genuinely focused on making our stay perfect. They even tried arranging an early check-in, which didn’t work out, but the man at the counter promised us the best view possible. And he delivered! The Kaaba view from our room (4125) was simply breathtaking. Even when you’re not in Haram, you can see the Kaaba right from your bed. That alone makes everything worth it—you’ve traveled thousands of kilometers for this moment, and the Kaaba is in front of you 24/7. They also broadcast Salah live, allowing you to pray from your room while looking directly at the Kaaba—especially helpful when managing small children. The hotel also ensures you get the best possible food, so you can focus on your spiritual journey without worrying about meals. Their buffet (extra cost) offers a huge variety of options, and I strongly recommend it. They make sure you’re well-nourished and energized for your worship. The only thing missing at dinner is drinks and coffee, but you can order those separately at your table. A huge thank you to the entire team for making our stay so special. Thank You! We are back, but we left our hearts in Haram.
