Avoid as the hotel is filthy!

We checked in and were given a room on the 2nd floor. As we entered the room, we could smell damp/mould mixed with cigarettes. My mum is asthmatic and despite me explaining this the staff were dismissive. I called to advise that the room needed to be changed and I was told to come down to reception. As I was given a new room, I thought it would be better however it was disgusting. I was told “all triple rooms are the same” and they were very keen to stop me from explaining the issues in the reception area. - The bathrooms were filthy and the shower stunk of urine. Every-time the shower was used the smell became stronger. - Shower stained and full of mould. - Bathroom door handle loose and could not be locked properly. - Curtains full of stains and dust. - Claimed to be a ‘city view’ room but looked directly in to rooms of another hotel. - Window ledges dirty and dusty. - Bed side table dirty. - Lamps full of dust and dirt. - Very noisy as the room was near the lift and the road outside was very loud all night. - Air con vents full of dust which left an awful smell. I addressed these problems with the staff on the first day to which they were very dismissive. I have stayed at this hotel twice before and this was my third occasion but it certainly will be the last. In general, the cleanliness was appalling and even asking the cleaners to clean was a great amount of hassle. The room got cleaned twice during our week stay despite cleaners always being on that floor. I have never stayed in such a dirty hotel. I asked to speak to a manager several times, however this didn’t happen: I certainly won’t be visiting again.

Absolutely amazing. especcially the concierges they were so nice. One guy was so kind to show us to the room and had a nice chat with him on the way. I stayed in room 3029 amazing view 7th-10th December. I often ordrered room service to enjoy the amazing view of the Kaaba. It was delicious.

I had an average experience at the start of my stay. But the staff from the reception to the restaurant they turned it into an excellent experience. Many thanks to the reception staff badr and sultan, they handled our issue in a professional way. And many thanks to the restaurant manager Shaker and ridwan for their lovely surprise on my birthday.

Good location, good staff. Stayed for four nights. Found well comfortable rooms. The best part of the Hotel that it has got two exit points, one towards Haram and the other one inside the mall.. The only painful thing I found during breakfast in all my Four days . There was a lot of wastage of the food, left on the tables. Photos enclosed. While Talking to the waiter, as well as head chef, found that both are very well aware , but feel helpless. My suggestion would be to put a table standy on each table with some quotes from holy Quran about the wastage of food. This may help the people to realise that what they are doing is a sin.
