We are staying in Swissotel Makkah. Abul Fayez is our house keeping guy and he is very nice and sincere. He makes sure of everything we ask for very sincerely and immediately! We are very pleased with the service. Everything is very clean. I definitely recommend Swissotel Makkah !

Room 2405 was very good and comfortable. The service staff, Ahmad Abdul Rahman, was friendly, kind, and attentive, always ensuring water, coffee, milk, and other amenities were well stocked and sufficient.

The location is excellent; you just need to leave the hotel. In a 3-minute walk, you reach the Masjid. All people have smiles on their faces and the atmosphere is great. Especially Shahad at the reception provides the best customer service, and she is well qualified; the room is very clean, and the bed is very comfortable, offering great value! I am sorry you get what you pay for, but the rates are competitive compared to other similar hotels, but you need to compare like for like. Make no mistake, this is a very high-end hotel, also very quiet, and the breakfast is excellent. The only criticism I have is regarding their finance department, which has some unprofessional staff; however, I believe it is not affiliated with Swiss but rather a local setup that lacks respect for customers, but this doesn't matter because the hotel staff work hard, and I say this is the best hotel near Masjid El Haram.

It was our 5th and last visit to this hotel! We arrived at around 8pm for check in and did not feel warmly welcomed despite being loyal customers with a platinum Accor member status! The response of the guest relations staff, Nouf when we asked for a possible upgrade really put us off. She was like arguing being rude and showing attitude and made us waste time! Finally we checked it our kaaba view room( which is one of the most expensive rooms in the hotel which we always book) and never get any upgrade or any other previledge besides what we pay for be it as a Gold member on previous stays or as a platinum member this time. When we spoke to the Duty manager, Abdul Wahid the attitude was similar : ' we have lots of platinum members at this hotel' he claimed -like no customer is special here!!!. Indeed customers are treated as 'products' at this hotel and one only gets what one pays for. This time I was even dissappointed by the quality of the food for breakfast and the breakfast atmosphere like a 'fish market' so noisy and messy not at all a 5 star feel!. We will definitely go for Fairmont or Swiss Al makkam on our next visit and i'm sure they cannot be worse on customer valuation than our experience with Swissotel. Swissotel please give some training on hospitality and customer valuation to your check in staff and specially guest relation employee and duty manager!

We checked in for 2 nights having booked a kaaba view room( one of the most expensive rooms!) We arrived at 8pm at the hotel and the check in staff was hardly welcoming merely doing their job! As platinum accor members we had at least expected a loyalty valuation,but nothing. We asked for an upgrade , but got the usual ' no availability' and the rudeness and attitude of the staffNouf who is supposed to be a guest relations person really put us off and even afterwards when we addressed the duty manager, Abdul Waheed he seemed the least concerned and mentioned that they have so many platinum members at their hotel!!. Any way to cut short, at this hotel customers are treated as mere 'products' . I think you are working in the wrong field as you have no notion of hospitality let alone customer valuation. It was our 5th visit to this hotel and will be our last! The breakfast is also like a 'fish market' with lots of food but poor in quality not gastronomic at all for a 5 star! Accor has many other options like Fairmont or even Swiss Al-makkam which i'm sure cannot be worse than here on customer valuation.
