We stayed here for two nights in November 2024. The hotel is located near the shopping area. The reception is on second floor intertwined within the lounge. The two Lifts are small. The reception staff was good and pleasant. The room was basic with no cupboards but shelves but is was sufficient for our needs. The room was clean and housekeeping was good. The hotel has no restaurant but bar and lounge for snacks. Breakfast spread was frugal but value for money. Porto town is good for shopping and most of the shopping area is accessible within 30 minutes, although it is little up and downhill. The checkin and checkout was smooth. Overall value for money.

The hotel was located in a great area to walk and shop and was amazingly quiet and comfortable. My favorite thing was the hospitality in the barr office, breakfast area, and the small balcony in my room. My first impression of the room was that it needed a fresh coat of paint, but the bed was very comfortable and everything was clean and nice, and I love the unique quaintness of everything offered.

Excellent location for seeing the sites in Porto. We were upgraded from a standard room to a corner suite with Juliette balcony. Bed was comfortable. Very small bathroom, sink was in the main room not in the bathroom. There was no luggage rack so suitcases were accessed from the floor. Parking is across the street in a separate garage. Breakfast was good. Enjoyed drinks from the bar. If it’s a nice evening, grab a table on the balcony. AC controls are in the room. Ours wasn’t working when we arrived, but staff came up to assist with turning on the control panel. Room stayed comfortably cool during our 3 days at the hotel. There is a hairdryer. No iron in the room. It would be great if the room included a luggage rack (not sure how older folks can easily get to their luggage) and a safe.

Arriving slightly early we were very pleased to be able to check into our room. The lady who checked us in was absolutely lovely and it was a very smooth process. We were overall happy with our room. It was usual ibis style which was fine for our short 4 night stay. Some of the walls could be done with a refresh but generally very clean. Our room was quiet and had towels refreshed every day. I was very impressed with the hairdryer mounted in the bathroom. Usually these are not the best but this one was exceptional. Very happy. Breakfast was great and had just a perfect selection to start our day. Great location and very walkable around the city. Would definitely stay here again.

Very small, dark rooms. No closet just shelves. Lucky that we had a tiny balcony otherwise I would have suffocated in the room. As a young traveller it may be ok but not for an older couple. Location is not too bad, however, I would not recommend this place
