Comfortable hotel situated on a main road in Saint-Ouen. Well maintained and very comfortable beds, although rooms are a little small. The restaurant is excellent for dinner. Breakfast is rather overpriced, but is convenient. Rather a lot of confusion over paying the bill! Overall a good stay for business.

Hello, I booked a night on the 15 of december, but I had to come one day earlier, therfore I made a booking the day before, but then I realised when I arrive at the hotel that I made a mistake and booked for the 23 of March....I try to cancel it but they told me that this was not possible, the front Office manager, obviously has never heard of customer service and cant differentiate genuine hospitality and people trying to cheat you, so I cancled the room, did not get the money back for it and then I cant even re-book a room, so basically they can double the money they are making with one rfeservation...that is what we call cheating guest basically...

Beware bed bugs!!

The hotel and accommodation were fine although not located in the best part of Paris. I would have liked to give a higher score if it not been for the three weeks after our stay: We stayed in a room with our 3 year old child, by the end of the weekend we were scratching all over our bodies. My wife suffered the most, unfortunately. We showed the receptionist the bite marks which were horrific. My daughter and I had later reactions and we have photographs to show how bad it was. Even after three weeks of awful scratching, we still have scars to show from the bite marks, it looks like we are diseased! We did contact the hotel, and although they promised to get back to us, they never did, and no apology or compensation was forthcoming. It was a terrible ending to a very pleasant stay in Paris. I just hope they had the decency to take the matter seriously and fumigated the room. I suspect probably not.

This hotel is listed as 4 Star. That is a lie. It is at best, 3 Star and struggles in places to even be that. If they did not advertise as being 4 Star, I probably would not be writing this review. It is the deception of claiming the higher status that warrants this review. The Foosball table in the lobby right outside the elevators lets you know right away that you are not in for a 4 Star experience. The elevator was drab, scuffed stainless steel, with dingy threadbare black carpeting. The décor in the halls is a dark, black on white geometric design that does not provide any touch of elegance. The storage in the room is an open shelf arrangement. This is low rent. No 4 Star accommodation has you store your things on an open rack. This is a 2 Star feature. We needed additional hangers for our clothing, and I requested them. Was told: “They didn’t have very many, but would look.” I never received them. The “office desk” in the room was literally one of those tray tables that you can pull over a bed to give you a table to eat at, except it was not on wheels so you couldn’t really do that – I am just giving you a sense of the small size. This was a particular point of dissatisfaction because I had emailed the hotel beforehand to inquire about the ability to work from the hotel room (my spouse accompanied me on the trip and needed to work remotely from the hotel on the days I was at the conference – the reason for the trip). We were assured this was easy to accommodate. Do not advertise a desk or office facility in the room when it is a tray table. The first night the bed was too hot for comfortable sleep. The duvet was too heavy – the first heatwave of the year hit for our visit. The next morning on my way out I requested an additional duvet cover (with no duvet inserted) – basically a sheet – so we could switch if too hot again. It was not delivered. That night I had to go ask for it again. Poor service. The bed itself was not terrible, it was decently comfortable, just not the quality common to 4 Star hotels. The bedding was low thread count and felt a little rough which degraded the overall sleep experience further. The hotel cleaning staff were friendly and nice.

I booked the hotel, on arrival it was closed and no one notified us. Actually, we called them making sure it was open and they ensured that it will be. Arriving there, hotel was closed and we needed to find another place to stay (paid unnecessary high amount because of disorganized Mercure). They promised us to use our nights on a later moment. Due to the covid restrictions it was impossible going to the this hotel, where we contacted way before the expiration date if something could be done. Anyway, the hotel did not response after they received the information needed and waited till we passed the expiration date. I had to chase them again and they told me now the date is passed. I expected a better service especially from a hotel chain like Mercure/Accor. This is unfair and daylight 'robbery'.
