We had a great time over there as a couple. Room was so clean. But the restrooms which we used on check in behind the reception area was really bad. Also Would suggest to change the breakfast menu atleast 25%. Same fish stew was served on our 2 days of stay. Need to improve very much on their breakfast menu. Receptionists were not that much kind with the guests. Dining ambience and the hospitality was really awesome.

The AC in my room was not working and the temperature was always at 19.5. I tried changing but it did not work the first night and I did not calll anyone as I was tied. the second night I called some help from hotel staff. He did something and said temperature is now 24 and said the AC will start once the temperature goes to 24. Then even after 4 hours the AC won’t start and it was suffocating. I had some work so I did not call anyone again as they take 20 minutes to come. I could not sleep as the AC won’t start and the room was suffocating. I had infomed this to front desk in the morning. I want this to be handled as someone staying in that room after me should not suffer the same fate. Plus I believe the quality and type of food is not appropriate to cost. I stayed in Hilton the next day and the choice was more and better and service was very nice.

Booked a base room and was pleasantly surprised to receive an upgrade to a Suite. The Suite was definitely the highlight of the stay — spacious, with a separate bedroom and living room, comfortable interiors, a good-sized bathroom and a nice view. The staff were pleasant and the overall stay was smooth and comfortable. One issue worth mentioning: after around 7–8 PM, a bar setup is created around the pool area, and guests continue drinking there late into the night. As a couple/family traveller, we found this somewhat uncomfortable, especially because the pool area otherwise feels like a common leisure space. I understand GIFT City has specific regulations and permits for alcohol service, but I would have preferred clearer separation of the bar area from the main pool/family space. Overall, a good and comfortable stay.

We had an infant with us and the staff was extremely supportive of us in taking care of our infant. The hotel didn’t charge anything for infant which was really beautiful and the staff was extremely helpful. We are looking forward to staying with Grand Mercure again.
