Had a terrific stay at the Sofitel Noosa Resort. The staff were all great. A special shout out to Donna who works at the Noosa Beach House. Always smiling and so helpful. Also Jamaica and Fiona from Reception. Such a lovely welcome. Great location, food and service. Would highly recommend to everyone

The Sofitel at Noosa is excellent in every way, from the check in process to the check out at the end of your stay. The staff are excellent, and all go that extra mile to make your stay not only enjoyable but memorable. We really appreciated the little extras we had for being a Platinum Member of Accor particularly the champagne on arrival and the gift for my partners birthday. Our friends who own a property in Noosa joined us for a drink and were very impressed!!

Arrival and check-in was fine. We were put on level 3 with partial pool views. The room is starting to show its age and in need of a renovation. The curtains were hard to manoeuvre and not possible to make the room fully dark. We paid for breakfast for everyday of our stay and had dinner at the restaurant and the bar a couple of times. Checkout process was ok. Concierge were helpful with the luggage. Positives: Friendly stuff Decent gym Great buffet breakfast with good choices Location Room size Housekeeping and general upkeep of the property Helpful concierge The beach house restaurant food and service Negatives: Old rooms in need of renovation No upgrade or late checkout given as Accor Gold Beach house bar very noisy with live band ect. Bit too pricy for what you get I.e. value for money is questionable

The hotel itself is tired, but apparently due for a much needed refurbishment next year. The real problem is the service in the restaurant and around the pool. The breakfast is partly self-service and is, for the self-service part, reasonably adequate. However, tea and coffee are served by staff who are mainly untrained young girls and come back with the tea or coffee about 15 minutes after the order was requested. The tables are not cleared and the place becomes crowded quite quickly. Service of food around the pool area is also quite poor with orders getting lost or delayed for long periods. Whilst the hotel is generally clean, in our case our room wasn't serviced until 3 p.m. and only after a phone call to house keeping.

From the moment we checked in the incredible level of service was evident. The hotel is beautifully maintained everything is clean and modern and we particularly enjoyed the Birthday welcome plate of Petit Four & a beautiful bottle of bubbles. We dined in the Noosa Sofitel restaurant Noosa Beach House and the service and food was amazing. Thank you PJ Choroomi for welcoming us back and for running such a wonderful restaurant. A big shout out Álvaro for your incredible service it truly is second to none, and the food is simply delicious. We had room service breakfast in the morning and the Eggs Benedict was honestly some of the best we have ever had.
