Staff were mixed. Some were friendly and cheerful, while others were noticeably disengaged. The Sola restaurant was reasonable with a fair selection for dinner. However, the burger should be avoided, the bun was stale and unpleasant. Unfortunately, the rooms were well below an acceptable standard. The bedding had a strong, unpleasant odour to the point that two pillows had to be removed from the room and stored on the balcony. There was visible internal water damage to the ceiling with mould present. Dust build-up in the vents and throughout the room was excessive and concerning. The air conditioning was ineffective and extremely noisy, making sleep very difficult. Even when switched off, a loud hum continued and could be heard from outside the room. Daily housekeeping was inconsistent, some days were satisfactory, while others were extremely poor. Overall, the resort appears to be suffering from significant neglect. Severe water damage is visible throughout the property, along with fallen trees and uneven pathways at the rear of the accommodation that appear to have been left unattended for a long time. I have stayed at numerous Novotel properties across Australia, and this was by far the worst experience. It has unfortunately led me to decide that I will not stay at another Novotel again.

Никогда не были в таком ужасном отеле. В номерах нет света, только торшер и свет в коридоре, ребенку вечером даже не порисовать было!!! Ужас но воняли ковры в номере, когда сдвинули кровать увидели такую грязь, что страшно было. Сам бассейн детский неплохой, но очень скользкий пол, другие проживающие проносят стекло в бассейн, им никто ничего не говорит. Правила безопасности не соблюдаются. Углы бассейна острые. Больше не поедем ни за что.

We were there for a work christmas party under the name Lisa and Shane Keefe. We were extremely disappointed with the restaurant and bar setup. you have a very expensive menu and expect customers who are paying $52 a steak to get up and order at the counter and go to the bar to order there drinks. I understand this at a local pub or tavern but not at your resort, there should have been table service! We spent a small fortune there and could not believe the service that was not included, you really need to change this.

We came to spend time with my Sister. We have been travelling around Australia and hotels have been clean and the staff very helpful. As expected after our previous trips to Australia. This resort was very expensive looked lovely online, but don’t be fooled! We stayed in an over lagoon bungalow and my sister and brother in law next door. If money was spent on freshening up the resorts it might be improved. Holes in curtains, dirty fans and vents housekeeping hit and miss. Shower leaked and not many plug sockets in convenient places and only one bedside lamp. Beach furniture dirty and never cleaned. The staff certainly haven’t been to any hospitality school have no idea on customer service. Breakfast is ok but lunch and dinner are nothing to write home about no table service as such and menus very boring. We went out most nights. Also asked for drinks at bar and deserts all out if stock. WiFi non existent in rooms. Music load when on beach by lagoon and if something on at Lily’s more noise. It’s sad as this was treasured time with my family and I’ve stayed in better hotels of this group and this I can say matches up to some very bad hotels in UK resort’s! Not what I expect in Australia. Reading other reviews now I can see that the hotel are not listening to the criticism.

Good location, out of town centre. good sized pool. Check in was great, staff friendly, helpful, gave all information and map of resort. Room, tired, in dire need of attention. Sliding door to bedroom and outdoor patio would not lock. Sofa's sagging and need replacing, furniture outdated. paint on door frame was peeling off. Shower had silicon parting from glass at door edge, sticking out, it was sharp. kitchenette cupboards needed cleaning. Nice outdoor table and chairs. TV's - channels either non existent or kept cutting out. Fridge bigger than the usual tiny bar fridge and had a freezer compartment. Activities available, kayaks, catamarans, volley ball, games room, gymnasium. Restaurant - food is repetitive, another restaurant is needed to give more choice of meals. Breakfast, staff friendly and good buffet. Kangaroos lounging in grounds. Check out, friendly and fast.
