Great Hotel on a Budget

Located in the heart of Osaka Umeda, this a fantastic hotel very close to the station and shopping district of the hotel. The rooms are small, ideally as per my personal preference I would just do 1 per person. But contains all the amenities that a hotel at its range should provide. Samsam at the reception and other front desk staff are very hospitable and nice. I shall definately look forward to staying there if I go there the next time. Arigato Gozaimasu 🙏🏻

Great stay and great location in Osaka

I stayed in four different hotels in Japan, and this one was probably the best in terms of the aesthetics and amenities and space in the room. We booked the hotel based on location and a recommendation from a friend. The bed was extremely comfortable, the room was immaculate. The TV had BBC (which was great as an English speaker). The staff at the front desk were helpful when you needed it and made check in easy. The location is near the train, but I did find the labyrinth of underground tunnels very confusing (not the fault of the hotel). There is a direct access point to the hotel underground along with a lift. My only suggestion would be for them to give a few more instructions in the check-in email on how to find the hotel when underground and coming from the train. There is a restaurant downstairs (we didn't eat there but it looked great) and there are convenience stores a few steps away if you want to self-cater, not to mention multiple food options nearby above and below ground. Overall a fabulous, comfortable stay and I would recommend Ibis if you're in Osaka.
