The hotel is conveniently located on the Bund in Shanghai. Service is great and very friendly. We booked the Fairmont Grad Room, Executive level. There was a dedicated check-in area on the ninth floor and we had access to the Executive lounge. The service was attentive and genuine. The room was spacious and well equipped. We could have had our breakfast at the Gold Lounge but decided to take it in the main restaurant on the ground floor. There was a much bigger variety of food on offer in the main restaurant. The staff were extremely helpful, especially in the Gold Lounge. They assisted us with everything that could be a problem, be it the Chinese only car hailing service or registering my credit cards with Alipay, WeChat and Didi. Altogether, this hotel was a a great choice.

Art Deco masterpiece. Visit the hotel's free in-house heritage museum for the full experience. Every part of the experience is top quality. Be aware that these are heritage buildings, so room footprint and window sizes are limited by this.

I have joined the Peace Museum tour today. It was a great experience and we are hosted by Hebe. She is well versed with the hotel history and really professional! A fantastic way to spend an afternoon in Shanghai! If you enjoy history and museums, do check out this tour.

English tour with ViVi was outstanding and very thorough. She was very knowledgeable and pleasant it was a real treat. We got to see many highlights and she shared in depth knowledge of many historical elements and history of the peace and Cathay hotels

We stayed in Fairmont Peace Hotel. The morning breakfast was great. The food variety and quality were great. Tina our server was very friendly and enthusiastic in taking care of our table. She also gave us some good tips on where to see in Shanghai. We really enjoy our stay here.
