comfortable Spacious rooms with all Amenities. Great food , lively Lobby ( Ms Janine is Unique ), great central location in Makati & professional Executive lounge ( Angelo is outstanding). Food outlets and Gym/spa/pool are just top notch .

I had such a horrible experience from checking in where the staff “mocked” me when I asked for the digital key. She was clueless of what I was talking about and so I showed her my phone and she laughed (insulting laugh) saying, “maam this is not the Pullman in Orchard (my last digital key), you are in fairmont!” - like i was an idiot or something who doesnt know where I was!!! So i had to educate her and said - “i know. That was my last stay and i am asking for you to give me a digital key coz that’s what i prefer.” I asked for her to talk to her supervisor so she can ask then she was later on educated that digital keys aren’t available at fairmont yet. Also asked her to extend my stay for a day. She didnt! I had to find out 2 days later when I asked the other person at the front desk. Also had an issue at the Spectrum where they (Bless and another lady) repeatedly said that as part of the promo, we can have 50% for the dinner. So instead of taking my team to New World Hotel, i took them there. Later on told me that they made a mistake and wont honor the 50%. Made me wait 1.5 hours for the bill. There were 11 of us. These are just some of the few but i have stayed in your chain in different continents and this is the WORST!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Its a lie for you to claim you are a 5 star property. Service alone is a failure!

Breakfast .. usually a nice way to start the day, this time, let us down

Fairmaont Makati is our gateway into and out of the Philippines, the staff are always fantastic and rooms are always a pleasure to stay in. This stay - it was the buffet breakfast that did not bring us the usual enjoyable part of of the stay. The table we were sat at was rickety and each time you went to move your drinks slopped everywhere, the staff were not as professional - one staff member was doing admin stuff of crossing out part of the egg menu on each sheet - but standing right in front of the counter - not allowing guests to order their eggs. We had to request numerous times my partners coffee and cold milk for my tea, this seem to be a chore for one staff member. Also one of the staff bussing the tables brought out our ordered food - but stopped to clean another table and put the dirty dishes on the tray with our food, then brought this to our table .. this is a basic failure of any hospitality training. We brought this to the attention of the manager - but it seems it fell on deaf ears. It is a shame as many of the regular staff, like Ruth and Bea are always wonderful and make breakfast a highlight of the stay at Fairmont. Management need to do further training with their staff.

This was my first stay at Fairmont Makati. Trip was a business trip to Manilla with most meetings in around Makai. So location was perfect (and the fact that there was a big mall almost across street for some emergency purchases) made it even better. Just about everything about the stay and the hotel was as good as it could be. I am an Accord Platinum member, and I have travelled frequently across Asia for some 30 years, and/but the staff at Fairmont Makati were universally excellent. And that really incudes everyone. And extra especially the staff at the executive lounge, that were superb - even by Accor executive lounge staff standards. Overall, the executive lounge was one of the best I have visited in Southeast Asia. I appreciated the gym. To me this is the amenity that matters the most when selecting and staying at hotel. And there are few hotel gyms in Southeast Asia that would b=offer this selection.

We were first assisted by a great guy named Lester. He made sure that we conveniently arrived in our rooms, gave us a little orientation, and assured us with assistance if needed. Breakfast buffet was good, probably a little variety of food served daily. Staff would always accommodate us with our requests
