9 night stay with our family

We stayed 9 nights with our young daughter and this trip was about connecting with family and friends. The location is perfect in Makati. The highlight for us here was the restaurant where you have breakfast and dinner etc. The service was absolutely amazing every day without fail. We also really enjoyed our Sunday brunch at the hotel. One thing I found a little confusing given the high room rate is that if you book what they call a residence which is really a one bedroom suite you don’t have same inclusions such as butler service and some of the other things you have if you book a suite. The room was great and we really liked it and the cleaning etc was excellent. Thanks to the staff for a great stay. We would stay again.

Solo weekend getaway

I came to Manila for a solo weekend getaway and much needed self care. Booked my hotel expecting a nice relaxing low key stay, but was upgraded upon check in and surprised to discover that my suite came with a complimentary fully stocked bar and personal butler. Marcel greeted me with an expertly crafted Old-fashioned cocktail and went above and beyond to make my stay memorable. Service was impeccable and I appreciated the extra efforts made by him and the lovely ladies at the lobby lounge / artist’s bar to make me feel special and well taken care of. From the handwritten notes with my afternoon tea to the prompt communication by WhatsApp and did I mention the on-demand cocktails in my suite? — I felt quite pampered and spoiled and only regret not staying longer to take full advantage of this superb service. This was my first solo trip ever and despite my initial hesitations and anxiety about traveling solo and leaving my husband and toddler back at home, Raffles really set the bar and exceeded my expectations for what luxury solo travel could be like. I came back feeling refreshed and recharged, and look forward to going back next time and bringing my family and friends to enjoy Raffles with me.

We visited from NY over Christmas break. We arrived on Christmas Day and were warmly greeted by our butlers, the wonderful Julio and Kent. We were seated at a lovely tea service shortly after checking in. During our stay we enjoyed the amazing buffet at Spectrum as well as an elegant French dinner at Mireio. We cannot say enough great things about the staff- we were always warmly greeted, and Julio was so attentive and an incredible help to us all. Thank you Julio, Kent, Sebastian, Erwin, Dustin and JP for your hospitality!
