Horrible experience! I stayed in this Swissotel 1.29-2.10 during Chinese New Year Holidays. Duty manager Molly cancelled my booking 5 times 2.10 10pm, refusing to renew my room key nd keeping RMB 1000 cash at front desk, demanding me to pay more money to her saying although the online price is RMB 769 at that time, it is not enough for me to get back to my own belongings, even the RMB1000 is not enough, I must give her the 1000 and pay 1140 more. Accor China, Shanghai police and Cultre and Tourism office interfered didn't help. Till today after one week i am still not able to get back my luggages valued about RMB 70,000-80,000. Hotel said they're locked in a storage but refused to provide any photos and has driven away delivery twice. They harassed me and my family on holidays and weekends by phone and by WeChat.

A true five star establishment. Everything about the swissotel shanghai was top notch - the delicious breakfast, the high end furnishings in the room, the location in a great neighborhood, the friendly staff, the relaxing spa - the swissotel shanghai exemplifies a five star hotel and we're happy to recommend it to family and friends.

Great service and location, where the staff genuinely smile!

We were greeted by Jack Qin soon after we showed up at their reception. He - as well as many hotel staff we met during our three days there - had a genuine smile and friendliness, which you don't always find elsewhere in Shanghai. Happier staff means better service, and this was true with this hotel. Jack was helpful and patient in helping us with our requests and inquiries, and so were the housekeeping team members. The rooms were set up to make use of their spaciousness. The place has been well maintained, very neat and tidy. The hotel's location is most convenient, with easy access to public transport, convenience stores, cafes and restaurants. Staying at this hotel has enriched our family's experience in this Shanghai trip.

Very good choice near Jin’An Temple

Hotel location is fantastic, just exit 2 and 5 min walk to hotel. Hotel surrounded by so many shopping malls, with lots of restaurant and variety of food. Room is big and very cozy. Bed is very comfortable staff are very helpful, especially walking to hotels with many bags, staff will approach to help carry. Really recommend

The hotel is very well located in Shanghai with gym, sauna and jacuzzi. I went to the lounge for the afternoon tea and the was warmly and nicely welcomed by two kind ladies Jojo and Leticia. Their service was excellent and they let me feel very comfortable. In addition, the view from the lounge is just amazing. I recommande this hotel with lounge service.
