Good location, terrible rooms and service. Dirty buffet, sticky nasty floor each day and I got an upset stomach from the food. Dirty hallways. Odd bathroom that doesn't full close from bedroom. Staff is not friendly at all. I only book five star hotels and was extremely surprised by this place. 2 stars at best. They didn't even greet properly or speak English at check in. Concierge test was very weird and unfriendly. This is a far cry from the Swissotel Grand Namba in Osaka which is extremely good and true 5 star place where we stayed last year. Brand seems inconsistent and the manager needs to be retrained here. There's also wallpaper bubbling off the wall in the hallway on the 10th floor near our room - it's really gross! Too much funky weird overwhelming perfume smell in the lobby also. I could go on but I won't.

Very good, friendly staff including housekeeping and Mr. Huang, the concierge manager who ensured our family of four a smooth ride to the airport. Check-in staff was efficient and friendly but marred by extended wait time. Great location, convenient to public transportation and places to eat. Do not patronize the discounted BBS restaurant, which is not BBQ at all. Terrible service and foods.

Alan from the reservation team is very efficient and helpful, he promptly adjusted the reservation as requested and provided a clear confirmation of needed details. Alan demonstrated exceptional knowledge of his profession, truly understand my needs and concerns, he provided outstanding service and has done an excellent job!

We stayed here twice in our visit to China - at the start and the end. On the second stay we were upgraded to an amazing suite on the top floor, which was an amazing, unexpected surprise - we stayed up till midnight to make the most of it!! Lovely hotel, fantastic location, lovely staff - couldn’t fault it.

Avoid if you are Accor Platinum

Avoid this hotel if are a Platinum with Accor. I am writing this review just after check in and am currently at the hotel. This hotel has zero elite recognition. No welcome note or welcome amenity in the room. I was just handed a one page printout (refer attached pic) and sent to my room. No offer to send luggage to the room too. There are no upgrades offered, just a dated cramped room on higher floor (which was supposedly an upgrade) Avoid unless you absolutely want the location which is nice.
