The hotel was cute and comfortable for my stay for business, I’ve tried a few other hotels in the area in the past and wanted a change. Hotel gym was nice, room was clean, hotel was secure and they gave a snack credit. There’s a few things that could have been improved. Upon checking I asked the front desk if I could have a late check out and asked what would be the latest I could leave. They said 3 so I planned my whole last day around leaving the hotel to go for my 5:30 flight at O’Hare. After my work event on my last day I wanted to confirm with the front desk about my checkout time and they said it was noon or $50 per hour after that. Disappointing since that changed all of my day plans. They also don’t clean the rooms every day so that would have been a nice add and instructions to get to the pedway were very unclear and you could easily get turned around. Lastly my AC in my room would “clang” if it was turning on which was odd. Overall I had a safe place to stay but could have been improved.

I always love staying at Swissôtel, especially because of the service! On this particular trip, Simona and Emina went above and beyond for me when I was dealing with a difficult situation and absolutely made my night. The gym is also one of the best and biggest hotel gyms I've seen and it overlooks the water. I'd highly recommend anyone coming to Chicago to stay at Swissotel and huge shoutout to Simona and Emina!!
