The Fairmont Washington DC staff provide excellent service from our arrival at the front door, check-in, in the lobby bar, outside in the courtyard Gin bar and especially on the Gold Floor. Everyone was ready to help with any questions or make recommendations that made our stay enjoyable. The lobby bar and courtyard Gin bar are wonderful places for a cocktail and a variety of food options. The servers have great recommendations for food and a new recommended cocktail we tried was great. Something new we will try again upon returning. The location of The Fairmont Washington DC is easy walking to Georgetown, DuPont Circle, Mall Memorials and Museums. Taxis and Uber/Lyft are readily accessible from the hotel which we used easily several times during our stay. A Circulator Bus also has a stop by the hotel with great routes around the city especially on hot days in the city. Finally, the Gold Floor is highly recommended for the wonderful service provided by the Gold Floor team, the great food offered in the Gold Floor lounge and the well appointed rooms, especially the rooms overlooking the courtyard which are very quiet.

Excellent hotel, great staff and located close to many events and sites. Rooms are spacious and the amenitie at hotel is excellent. Will stay here next time in town. Highly recommend fir your stay in the DC area.

Stayed here for a conference. Entire staff was friendly, warm and welcoming. Conference meals were all delicious (high five for the tenderloin served at one lunch and the apple, spinach and avocado smoothie served at two of the breakfasts). Room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. Appreciated it's quiet at night (no earplugs needed). Roughly 30 minute walk to the monuments, plenty of restaurants (Chef Geoff's!) and a CVS nearby. Highly recommend.

Excellent property with outstanding personnel who are professional and personable. The room was quiet and spacious. The common areas were immaculate. The outside courtyard was serene and delightful. The location was convenient to restaurants and other points of interest. The Fairmont brand did not disappoint.

Very beautiful, chic hotel. Location could not be better. You can walk to the White House, to museums and to the nearby Georgetown restaurants and chips. Lovely. Great personalized welcome at reception, great service. My only concern was the very uncomfortable mattress, not what you expect in such high class hotel. I had the worst sleep in a long time! Matress is very hard, without any comfy topper on it. During the night, I even woke up several times because you feel all the squared shapes of the mattress. You can even see them through the sheets on the picture. Very uncomfortable
