Perfect place to relax in wine country

The Fairmont Sonoma was an awesome place to camp out for a few days. From the pool bar to Sante, it was a special experience. Everyone worked hard to make your stay special. The valets were personable and helpful, the staff at Sante was amazing. As far as hotel restaurants, the Sante was delicious! We ate breakfast there all four mornings and had one dinner. The dinner was truly special. You should have no qualms about eating at this hotel restaurant. The room was very comfortable. We live on the East Coast, so not sure when we will be back but this place was one of the reasons we want to hurry back.

We came to celebrate our friend’s birthday and had the best time. Everyone was so nice and helpful. I had never been before and had a lot of questions. We can’t wait to come back for a girls day!

I stayed here two nights for a short getaway for rest, and I needed the peace and quiet to put together my 2026 planner. I took my dog and she enjoyed it too. There weren't too many guests when I arrived so it was quiet. A conference group arrived later but I didn't notice much noise difference and I was on the first floor by the lobby. I had a room on the first floor and the doors between the lobby and my hallway were very helpful with keeping the noise out. The hotel's location was great for what I needed, and the room was clean. The room felt a bit outdated but I didn't mind. All the staff I interacted with were fantastic (housecleaning, valet, front desk, bar, grounds keeper, restaurant). I used self park. We met Chardonnay and that was the highlight. I love when hotels have a resident dog. I appreciate the hotel has a separate food menu for dogs. I ordered the chicken chow for mine, and she devoured it. The hotel is walking distance to several restaurants. My dog and I took a long walk in the neighborhood behind the hotel. I will definitely stay here again.

Friendly staff, welcoming property, but check your invoice

Nice property, a little outdated but very welcoming feel. No elevators at least for the rooms we stayed at. Not noisy, good service and friendly staff. Double check your invoice at checkout and again when you receive your email. The couple before us had $500 of charges in error and we had some breakfast supplemental charges thrown on that were not explained to us at the time for our package. When we arrived home, a breakfast charge for our last morning was added to our invoice in error even though we had a breakfast package and I'm now waiting for them to remove it. (they admitted it was in error but the email response time is super slow)

60 minute deep tissue massage with Rosa!

Here with spouse and friends. While they golf, I take advantage of getting spa and relaxation time! Had the 60 minute deep tissue massage with Rosa. She was great! Helped with my chronic hip and back pains.
