We having been staying here since the 80s. We just celebrated our 45th wedding anniversary here, last week. We had a room with an incredible view from the 22nd floor. The staff is always amazing. This hotel is the true 5-star experience. We cannot think of a better hotel and location in San Francisco.

Beat-up facility , need a major renovation

Fremont has lost its glory. It needs a major renovation . Staff is “tired” and simply don’t “care”. Overpriced food and beverages … a small bag of chips $17:00… a cup of coffee $18.00… overnight parking $88.00 + taxes Long line for check in. Waited 10 minutes at the check out counter but nobody was there so I just left.

A wonderful place.

I'm up at 5 am every day to write, and I set up my laptop-nest in the lobby, surrounded by fabulous memorabilia of the Hotel. My favorite part of the hotel in the outdoor courtyard in the back of the hotel. My youngest was super excited how with every room service delivery (we utilized it multiple times per day) upon arriving, they would set our dining table so nice and proper with linen table cloths and full place settings. Thank you so much to the entire SF Fairmont staff as you all went above and beyond to make our family feel welcomed. 5 Star Ratings from us!

Best hotel in San Fran! We could not have been happier and cannot wait to return. I am extremely picky about hotels and cleanliness and was absolutely delighted by the Fairmont! It was comfortable, but luxurious. We loved it! We ate at the Tonga restaurant 2 out of 3 nights and had the best time!
