Great hotel for business trips

Great business hotel, located by the convention centre and close to central businesses. Really friendly service and comfortable rooms. Fantastic gym - really exceptional. The inhouse bars are great but in room dining left a bit to be desired.

The hotel lobby is beautiful. The Christmas decorations and such are amazing. Took us a long time to check in, but it happens, no big deal. The people are very nice and helpful. It’s a bit of a maze in the lobby. The rooms are…. Alright. The room was very small and dated, the bathroom even smaller. There’s no fridge in the room (???) except for purchasing drinks. No warm water pressure in the shower in the evening for some reason. Just ok.

Our stay at the fairmont was a fantastic way to start the holiday season off. The staff at the hotel were friendly and very helpful especially our room attendant sherley. She went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable.

My husband and I stayed for a night at Fairmont Royal York to see the wonderful Christmas decorations. We had a very pleasant stay and thanked to all the staffs at the Fairmont God Lounge for their excellent service. I was particularly impressed by Temo’s excellent attitude and his enthusiasm in his job. Temo greeted us warmly on arrival making us felt very welcome. His manner was genuine and professional. He was proficient and ready to assist whenever needed. An outstanding customer service personnel. Thank you for the hospitality.

We had a four night stay in the Royal York and without doubt is one of the best hotels we’ve stayed in, a beautifully appointed hotel with lovely spacious super clean rooms. All the bars and restaurants look fabulous with delicious top quality food and service. Every staff member we met was so welcoming, helpful and friendly, it was an absolute pleasure throughout our stay. The hotels location is ideal for exploring the city. I would recommend staying at this hotel 100%
